Red wanted to smash her phone with a hammer when it didn't stop ringing at 6:30 in the morning. She hated the sound of it.

What days is it today? She didn't know. And she didn't want to know, honestly.

It was a constant reminder on how long Chloe has left her.

With a groan, she gathered all of her remaining strength to turn it off. She sat up on her bed, rubbing her eyes.

This is how Red gets ready everyday ever since she left. Sitting on her bed for at least 3 minutes, making sure she’s wide awake with her sanity intact before she continues her day.

She ruffled her hair, getting all her things before hopping in the bathroom to get ready for another torture at school.

After showering and dressing up, she rolled her eyes when the hair dryer wasn't working again.

“Bluey, the hair dryer is broken again. How do I get this to turn on?” She smacked it, as if it would automatically work while throwing a little tantrum like a child.

“I swear, we’ve done like, what, a dozen reports about this to principal uma.”

Silence.

She called for her again. With the radio silence, she went out of the bathroom with her lips pursed. A habit she learned from her mom.

“Chloe? I swear, if you left me without telling me-” What. An. Idiot.

Chloe’s bed was still the same as before just like how she left it, still undone. Still dusty. No one had the heart to clean her side.

She did nothing but stand there for a whole minute, imagining a certain figure on the bed with loads of books scattered everywhere before they left.

Closing her eyes, she gently slapped her left cheek, cursing at herself before going back to the bathroom.

She did everything in silence, finally getting the hair dryer to work again without Chloe’s help.

“See? Told you you could get it to work without me.” She almost had a heart attack when she heard her voice again.

“I literally had to smack it really hard for it to work.” She remembered her past self ranting to Chloe, with the blue-haired girl laughing at her response.

With a huff, she quickly got out and stuffed everything in her bag. Heading to the door, she saw all of their sticky notes on the board.
