The common room was packed and noisy. Everyone was eating the food that had been sent up. After grabbing plates and food, Harry, Ron, Hermione and I decided to go and talk to the Weasley twins."YOU DID WHAT?" they asked us at the same time after we told them about our adventure in the bathroom. The music that was playing was very loud, but you could hear them say that very clearly.
"We knocked the troll out." I said casually while taking a sip out of my pumpkin juice with a big smile on my face. It was very rare to see the twins be shocked about something as they were the biggest troublemakers I knew.
"That's wicked!" George said, still not being able to believe us.
"And the best part is, that we even earned points for Gryffindor!" said Ron.
"Yep" I said proudly, listening to the music.
After a while the cool songs you could dance to slowly started turning into boring love songs and the four of us sat down to catch our breath.
"Let's go dance again, Jules" Harry suddenly said as he noticed that I was watching a girl and a boy dancing who I didn't know.
"Right now?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. The love songs were still playing.
"Yeah, why not?" he asked smoothly as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the dance floor. The song "I want to know what Love is" started playing and Harry started dancing. I couldn't help but laugh at the boy.
"You look ridiculous" I said, not being able to control myself.
"We can look ridiculous together" he answered and grabbed my hand, as he started spinning me around and then let me go again, indicating to me to start dancing as well. And so I did. We both looked extremely dumb, but Harry didn't seem to care. He simply just smiled at me.
After the song had ended, the cool songs started playing again and everyone was back on the dance floor. The party went on for a really long time, but we eventually had to go to bed. Professor McGonagall had come into our common room, looking furious, and telling us to stop. We also heard her mutter some very rude words to herself about us.
Hermione and I didn't exactly stop. Before going back to our dormitory we grabbed some of the leftover sweets and stayed up until 5 a.m, talking about everything.
"The party was actually so fun" I said as we started gossiping about everyone we knew.
"I know right!" Hermione squealed. "Talking about having fun at the party.. You and Harry on the dance floor..." she winked at me.
"Ew stop. I didn't want to dance with him. He dragged me along with him without even asking me if I really wanted to dance with him" I answered.
"Oh come on, you're flirting all the time!" she said. "Everyone thinks you like each other."
"We aren't flirting, we're arguing. And I definitely don't like him, he's an idiot"
"The arguing is the flirting!" Hermione answered.
"Well if arguing is flirting, then you and Ron are also flirting all the time" I said.
"Never mind" Hermione quickly said, changing the topic "So, what do you think about the book we have to read for Transfiguration?"
