chapter sixty - reybell's final departure

"IM REALLY GONNA MISS WAKING UP to your drool on my shirt." walker said as he pulled blake closer to him in the hotel bed.

blake's head snapped up to her boyfriend, "i don't drool, what are you talking about." she said defensively.

"how would you know, i'm the one who feels it." walker said. "you just need something against me, even thought you know i sleep like a princess." blake said.

"yes you do." walker smiled, his hands running down the back of blake's head in comfort.

"seriously i'm gonna miss you a lot. when's the next time i'll be able to see you?" walker asked.

"well, percy jackson comes out next month. i got invited to that...march barbie comes out, i know they're inviting you next month....and then our disney trip we planned with everyone in april." blake said.

"so i see you once a month, i'm not surviving." walker said. "you will scobell. we have facetime and all of those."

"what about after april though?" walker asked.

blake thought again, her eyes brows dropping when she realized she wouldn't see walker for the rest of the year. she was going to be too busy, and so was he with the popularity of percy jackson.

who cares, they would make it work. "okay...never. i can't see you for the rest of the year." blake sighed.

"what! blake you're joking."

"unfortunately i'm not, i'm gonna be so busy filming deadpool, and then with barbie interviews. it's gonna be a lot." blake said.

"i can't see you again? like actually?" walker said. "not with my schedule, and you and percy jackson are probably gonna be packed too." blake said.

"i guess you're right." walker said, sulking in the bed. "it's okay, we did it for a month and we can keep going." blake said.

"so that means...i have to get all my kisses in now!" walker said.

blake laughed as walker did his new favorite thing to do, kissing her face.

"walker!"

blake laughed as walker sent her another meme, and she sent him one back. she then moved to tiktok, answering the tiktok he had just sent her.

they were both in seperate cars, on their way to the los angeles airport. since disney expo was over, neither of them had any reason to continue to be in los angeles anymore.

walker had to prepare for percy jackson's release, and blake had to do adr for barbie and then prepare for deadpool training.

they were both hoping the moment never came where they had to leave, terrified at most. both had a hard time being away from each other, and knowing their busy schedules it was just going to get worse.

blake and walker talked all through checking in for their flights, blake going to vancouver and walker going back to pennsylvania.

they held hand, smiled at each other, gave kisses on the check. just pretending they weren't about to leave each other for months.

then came the moment where they have 15 minutes before they had to board, so they officially had to separate to go to their gates.

walker fixed his carry on on his back, and blake stared at walker sadly.

"fuck, i'm really gonna miss you." blake said "i don't want you to go." walker hugged blake.

"i know, i would've never thought i don't want be home for once.." walker said quietly.

"here take this." walker said, taking a box out of his pocket.

they were jellybeans, but only the good kinds. there were only pink, red, and blue jellybeans, which meant it was watermelon, cherry, and blue raspberry. those were blake's favorite flavors, and walker knew that.

"what's this for?"

"because i'm jellybean to you blake. so when you see it you'll think of me, and i picked out the flavors you hated and left your favorite ones." walker said.

"oh and, i made these for us with leah." walker said taking out two beaded bracelets. "they're kind of messed up color wise but....i tried.

blake looked down at the blue bracelet, a w and a heart in the middle of the beads in different shades of blue.

she didn't really were brackets, but knowing that walker thought about her, and took the time to sit down and put each and every charm and bead onto the bracelet made her fall in love with it.

"walker come on let's go, you know how mom gets" leena said.

"it'll be my good luck charm." blake said as she put on the bracelet. "and this'll be mine." walker smiled.

"remember im just a call away scobell." blake said kissing walker's cheek then walking away.

"wait blake!"

blake turned around, seeing walker coming towards her. "you didn't kiss me goodbye." he said.

blake smiled, leaning up to close the height in between her and walker and kissing him. he placed husband on blake's arm while she leaned on his shoulders.

"remember, just a call away." blake said smiling, when they pulled away.

"i know."
