"Hej..." Agnetha greeted Frida once she took her place in the room. Today, ABBA will get their knighthood rewards and they couldn't be prouder of each other. "Hej..." Frida hugged the woman that held a very important spot in her heart. They chatted as they waited for their exes to arrive and the ceremony to start. After only a couple minutes Benny and Björn joined them, and the ceremony commenced...

After some awards were already awarded, it was ABBA's turn. First it was Benny's turn and then Agnetha's followed by Frida's and finally Björn walked on to get his award too. Together, the four smiled for some pictures before walking back to their sits together. Once back at their sits Agnetha and Björn sat down to soon, Agnetha quickly corrected her mistake, remembering they needed to stand for a while, while music played. Björn on the other hand had to be nudged by Frida to get up. After the ceremony was over, they answered some questions and took some pictures. Some apart and some together... deeply inside, they all longed to stay together for a bit longer, treasuring every moment spent together.

"We're ready to go," said Christina and Björn cursed himself. He had no idea why he even let her come. Actually, he didn't even know why he let her be in his life... She was almost 30 years younger than him... she could be his daughter... When he divorced Lena after their 40 years long marriage, he was alone again. He couldn't stay married to her any longer, because he felt he was hurting them both in the process. He couldn't give her the love she needed... he fell in love again... with the same woman that stole his hearth more than 50 years ago... When they started working on the Voyage album together again, all the feelings came back and he couldn't deny it... He wasn't one to remain a bachelor for too long and fell right into Christina's trap... Because of his own impatience, he was stuck in a very unwanted relationship... he could break up with her, but would Agnetha even take him seriously? He knew she was much more reluctant about a new relationship... but would she be open to rekindle their old relationship... She must know he still loves her... How could he not love her?! She was the one who left that faithful Christmas morning... not him... But in a week, he was already dating again... it was his fault after all...

"Not yet Christina," he said confidently. He won't go yet. He needed to talk to his love. He hadn't had a moment to talk to Agnetha privately yet. These moments were harder and harder to find as the years passed, and he didn't like this a bit. He needed to get his love back, no matter the price. He was finally ready to forget his pride and do anything to get Agnetha back!

"We're going!" Christina said again, this time more forcefully, making Agnetha flinch. She didn't want to be the cause for a fight. "It's ok Björn... we can talk another time..." she said even though she knew there probably won't be a next time anytime soon... if ever... She could see Christina had no intention ever letting Björn go. Inside Agnetha's heart, there was a fire roaring. She didn't know what to do. Should she let him go or should she talk with him... She still had many feelings... working together brought back many memories and she was having a hard time denying her love for her bear... She loved the guy to bits... "No Agnetha... we need to talk and Christina... you have no place in my life... especially when you act like that!" he said angrily. He's had enough. He won't listen to her anymore! "You can pack your bags... you can leave if not, your things will wait for you on the street," he finished, not bothering with her anymore, he took Agnetha's hand in his ready to walk away... Agnetha smiled. That was her Björn. He was still there...

"Not so fast!" said Christina, making the two of them turn around. "You can't just throw me out... I'm pregnant," she lied through her teeth. Agnetha's smile immediately faded, but she relaxed as she saw Björn laughed. "I never slept with you..." he laughed, making Agnetha smirk. She was right. She could never believe he'd sleep with a woman the same age as their own daughter! Christina huffed, but at last, she went away, leaving the two ex-lovers alone to talk. It was not to last though. They were soon approached by the rest of their friends and family that were there and had to postpone their conversation for a bit...

Frida and Benny were having a hard time finding a moment to talk privately too... Unbeknown to their family and friends, they have actually reconnected since the last Voyage Anniversary the previous May 2023 and have been together ever since. Benny and Mona quietly separated and so did Frida and Henry. Today, Henry was only there to keep up the appearances until they finally decided to tell their friends...

"I think we should go for a dinner... just the four of us..." commented Frida, desperately trying to get rid of the rest of the crew. The three other ABBA members nodded instantly. Only this way, they'll get some time to themselves. After some persuasion from Görel, their friends finally left, leaving the foursome alone. Suddenly, Queen Silvia walked to them. The all bowed to her slightly, showing her respect before giving her a proper hug. They have known each other for a long time, meeting on many occasions through the years... especially Frida. They have formed a certain friendship that gave way to many privileges. "You can stay at the palace..." she winked at them, giving Frida a paper with some more information.

Stay in the Northern Suite... it has two bedrooms and a bathroom, a living room and a small kitchenette to share. I'm sure you can make it work 😉.

You'll have your dinner delivered to your rooms and tomorrow I hope to see you at breakfast in the family dining room at 8.30.

We can talk more together, but for now, you are welcome to stay for the week... at least!

The four of them chuckled. This was a bit unexpected but definitely welcome. It gave them all time to talk and figure out what the future will bring and what they all wanted to do...
