I put my book bag down and plopped down on the couch. After a long torturing day, I could finally relax and set my mind on summer. Tomorrow was the last day of school and stephanie and I were planning on hanging out.

Do you want to hang out at kempsville lakes tomorrow? Qrystian and Justin will be at their pool.

The pool? Half naked in front of Justin and his friends?
I started getting nervous.. but I replied:

Do you think they will mind us being there?

Nooooo. they're our friends. they won't mind. but I need you to text Justin and ask him if we can come over there. ya know, just in case

I groaned and sighed. Then I went onto my contacts and started a conversation with Justin. As I typed, my heart raced.

can me and stephanie hang out at the pool with you and qrystian after school tomorrow? if you're not busy of course..
it wasn't even 2 minutes and he texted back..

Stephanie and I hugged eachother so tight. They were so happy that they finally graduated! "Oh my gosh I was so nervous when I got my diploma!" I laughed.
"Oh god same here!" Stephanie smiled. "Now let's go, it's 1:00 and you have to be home by 7:00. We have so much time to hang out at the pool!" Stephanie said excitedly.
"Alright I'll meet you at the gate!" I smiled.

"Okay Ariana just jump over the ditch, Gigi help Ariana with her stuff." Stephanie said and Stephanie's little sister Gigi did as she was told. There was a ditch between the road and Stephanie's backyard. I jumped over the ditch and climbed her fence.

"Hi." I said shyly and her mother spoke back. But that was really the only conversation me and her mom would ever have.
"Okay Ariana let me clean up your cut. I'm so sorry that the fence cut you. I should've known." Stephanie apologized.
"It's fine, I shouldn't have tripped over it. My clumsy self." I joked.
"Alright Ariana let me just get my bag and we can start walking." Stephanie says and runs to her room.

"Ugh it's so hot out here!" I sighed as me and Stephanie walk into the unfamiliar neighborhood. "I know but we just have to make a left turn then walk straight until we see the park." Stephanie said looking at Maps on her iPhone.
Once we reached the park, Stephanie got so jumpy and nervous. "Oh god there's Qrystian! Do you think he sees us?" Stephanie says, walking the other direction.
"Come on Stephanie, don't get so nervous. it's fine." I say, being a hypocrite knowing that I'm a tad bit nervous.
"Stephanie! Ariana!"
I looked to see Qrystian shirtless at the pool through the gate. "Oh gosh now they know we're here!" Stephanie groans. "Come on!" I yanked Stephanie toward the pool.

Me and Stephanie walked out in our bikini's and everyone broke their necks looking at us. Well, I mean, me.
I know I sound conceited but, Stephanie has the body of a 12 year old. It's not a bad thing though. She gets jealous of me because I get a lot more guys than her. But I don't see why anyone would want so much attention from boys. It sucks.

We got into the pool and saw Lauren. She lives here? I thought. "Hey!" Lauren smiled.
We greeted her back and stayed talking with her in the pool for 15 minutes until Justin and Qrystian came swimming around us, chasing eachother. Then Kashawn and his group of his friends came too. We all ended up talking and having a good time.

It's been 2 hours and Justin and I were flirting with eachother the whole time. He would go underwater and poke my butt a couple times. And when he went underwater, I tickled his feet. We did so many other things that made me confused on where we stand.
"I have something that I don't know if I should tell a friend but I know it will hurt them." Lauren told us.
"If it's important you should tell them. At the right time of course." Stephanie says. I swam away for a little just to practice swimming, and saw Lauren whispering to Stephanie. I thought I was nothing so I shrugged it off and swam around some more. I didn't want to interrupt them.
"Hey Ariana, I have to tell you something." Lauren says. I swim closer to them. "Yeah?" I say slightly out of breath.
"Uh.. well you know when I said that I have something to tell a friend but I know it'll hurt them? Well, you're that 'friend'.." Lauren scratches the back of her head.
"Lauren no, don't tell her!" Stephanie said sternly. But Lauren ignored her.
Lauren whispered into Ariana's ear, and told her something that she never wanted to hear.
