Prologue

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night.

Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn.

The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon.

She vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony and a help from someone just as powerful, they defeated her, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility for both...sun and moon... and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since.

Sighing at the sad story, (Y/N) looked out the window to see that he was already at the destination station, which made him smile.

(Y/N) walked from the station to the town of Ponivil where he hoped to be permanently. Since he had never been here, he just wandered around town until he met a strange pink pony.

(Y/N): Hi, I'm ---

Before (Y/N) could finish, the pink pony immediately shook his hand.

???: Hi I'm Pinkie Pie you're new here you must be new here because I know everyone from Ponyville and if I don't know you then you're not from Ponyville, so that means you're new here and if you're new here you have to listen to this song.

Pinkie took a deep breath and began to sing.

There was silence for a while until I started laughing a lot.

Pinkie: Likes it?

(Y/N): No. 

Pinkie definitely wasn't expecting that answer.

(Y/N) I love it.

I start laughing so hard I feel like a little foal again. After a while Pinkie joined in and I bet all of Equestria could hear us. After a while I finally calmed down enough to speak.

(Y/N): Anyway, I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you here party pony.

Pinkie: Nice to meet you too and I have to go bye.

She quickly runs away, leaving only a pink cloud in her wake.

(Y/N): (in mind) I will love this place if there are more like her.

(Y/N) definitely didn't expect to meet such a funny pony and keep following his nose to god knows where. He suddenly stops when he hears a bang and follows the sound.

???: Rainbow be careful next time, you almost ruined all my apples and now I have to collect them!

???: I said watch out Applejack! Is there something wrong with your ears?

(Y/N) clears his throat to get the attention of the 2 mares.

(Y/N): I can help.

(Y/N) uses his magic to levitate the apples and put them back in the cart.
