"I-I love you." Emberly said, my mind was literal scrambled eggs. Before I could say anything, as if I could muster the strength to anyway she interrupted me. "You-r house. Your house. It's nice, and cozy." She laughed nervously, sounding terrible with this save. But, I let it slide, for now. "Um, thanks. This is the house Tom and I grew up in actually. Him and I used to share this room. And it's kind of ironic I think. Him and I are both into YouTube." I said, helping Emberly out by changing the subject a bit. I was secretly thinking about what could've been of the conversation if she would've just left it at what she said at first. But everything happens for a reason. "Really?" She asks, awkwardly like it was forced or her heart wasn't fully in the conversation. "Yeah, he does animations. His name is TwoKinds." I said, standing up and unzipping the suitcase of my own. "We better get ready, IM EXCITED." I yelled as I found my home is where the pants aren't shirt. She giggled looking over at me, "Something tells me this is gonna be an interesting night." She got up, holding her shtuff to get all cleaned up. She was a little dressier than she should be for Cracker Barrel, but I could tell she was nervous about meeting my family and all that.

I showed her to the bathroom, and I went back to get ready for tonight. I wanted to plan something special, I mean, apart from the whole Cracker Barrel meet up thing with my brother and his wife. I wanted a really really high happy note to leave on, I was brainstorming ideas, smiling like a fucktard and changing my clothes.

She came back into the room, about 15 minutes before we had to actually leave. I just heard her at first, then finally after I felt her eyes piercing through me our gazes met. She looked so stunning. I was in awe, looking at her. She was wearing a pencil skirt with a plain green tank top. The shade that just so happened to match the color of her hypnotizing eyes. My heart pounded and I felt nervous.

The outfit made it hit me. I was going on a date, well sort of, with this insanely attractive woman. "You know, you didn't have to dress up." I finally said, quieter than I anticipated. "I know, but it's your family. Gotta be a little more lady like than t-shirts and jeans." She said as she uncomfortably pulled down her skirt and then shrugged. She put her hand behind her butt, I looked at her confused. "What, I gotta wedgie." I bursted out laughing. "WHAT." She laughed a little bit too. "Classy lady, announcing your wedgie pickin'." I smiled looking over at her, she was so out of her element in this outfit and it kind of made it twice as more adorable than before. "We match." She said pointing to my shirt. I didn't notice we were both wearing green. She blushed as I looked down at myself and when I looked at her, I spent a little more time just roaming her with my eyes. "We should get going, Tom will be upset with Markimoo if we are late." I said, referring to myself in the third person as I grabbed my keys and we headed out the door.

We actually made it to Cracker Barrel before my brother. We sat down at a booth. "Don't be so nervous, it's all gonna be alright." I said looking at Emberly biting her nails. She nodded quickly looking at me. I couldn't help but wonder what she's thinking about, because I knew exactly what was on my mind, what she said earlier. I couldn't shake the sound of her fragile little voice, saying the words I love you. Directed toward me. My heart feels like it grew god damn wings and was trying to fly out of me. I just wasn't sure, about what all this was. It was such a short period of time. It didn't take me long to realize, Emberly was not your average girl. And it wasn't your average way of falling for somebody, the way I fell for her. She was oddly charming, and kind of just as out going as someone like her, going through all this could possibly be. She was beautiful, but really what radiated so well is that she wasn't aware that she was beautiful. With every move of nervousness right now, or just the way she giggled at the Game Grumps earlier, it was all beautiful. She was like a song from a really good video game soundtrack. She had all the qualities you would want, and you'd never get sick of the song or the area of the game it played in.
