After going to the resort for Yuna's Birthday, Daniel had a fun time, but was severely weakened due to the incident of dye remover. He didn't have the physical ability to protect himself, and that would prove to be a massive problem today on May 20.

Daniel goes with Yune to school, however, they run into the Grade 9 bullies, they all notice that Daniel looked rather weak, they realize this is an amazing chance to get revenge, but Yune gets in the way.

"Don't think about it."

"What are you gonna do about it, Missy?"

"I'm stronger than ever now, you won't get the chance to beat me."

As she says that, it hits 7:29 A.M. and the bullies taunt her, saying that she was just full of hot air. Thinking that she couldn't do anything to them.

As the day went on, the bullies would keep annoying them. Throwing away their food, stealing their bags, etc. Yune was still extremely annoyed, but nothing bothered her too much, until at lunch, they restrained Daniel and punched him in the gut repeatedly, making him throw up. This made her furious, and she says to the leader of the gang.

"How about this? You and I will fight after school, you got that?"

"Hah! You? Fight me?

"That's right."

The leader bends down to be at eye-level with Yune and declares that she wouldn't win.

Yune, now even more infuriated than before, grabs his collar and yells in his face.

"You're gonna FUCKING DIE!"

Daniel was surprised, Yune was fighting for him and showing a side of her that he had never seen before, as he looked at her through his blurry vision, he had only one thought on his mind.

As the hours wind down, Yune helps Daniel as pain still resided in his stomach from the punches he sustained. Eventually though, Daniel excused himself to the nurse for proper treatment, he went during their final class. As class for everyone ends, everyone goes to the courtyard to watch the fight, Daniel wasn't present as he was getting treatment from the nurse.

Yune walks into the space as does the leader of the grade 9 bullies.

"I'm looking forward to your beatdown. Did you practice kneeling and begging?"

"You're dead meat."

As a grade 10 troublemaker signals the two to begin fighting, it was very clear to those watching who was gonna win.

Yune is now a girl stronger than Daniel within a week after school began, the boy who beat up 5 9th graders. The leader easily stood, no chance. Yune mercilessly beats up the leader as revenge for what he's done to her and Daniel, as this is happening, Daniel had just been treated, he was back to normal. Daniel remembers what was happening at this moment.

Daniel goes to the courtyard, and makes his way through the crowd, and looks absolutely horrified as he watches Yune wipe blood off her hands and look down at the battered, beat, and bloody body of the Grade 9 Student.

As the fight finished, teachers realized what was happening and subjected Yune to a 2 week suspension and that she would have a total of 10.00 points deducted from her average. Even then, Yune had no regrets about the way things played out, she wanted to get revenge and she got it. Daniel however, was concerned about Yune and what would happen, but there wasn't a thing he could do about it. Yune had received severe disciplinary action and that's that.

As Yune and Daniel walk home, Daniel and Yune go to Oak Tree Park and sit at the benches of the park.

"Why did you do that? There was no need to go that far."

"I went so far because it was revenge for two things, first, there was you, and then, there was my personal feelings about what they did to us as a whole."

"But still! If you held back a bit, there was a chance you could've lowered the severity of your disciplinary action."

"Daniel, I have no regrets about the way things played out. I got what I wanted and there's no way they'll confront us again."

"I'm concerned, this is a massive loss for you."

"I don't care, I got to protect you, that's all I wanted."

This argument led Daniel to a truth he wanted to deny, no two people can truly be perfect for each other. No matter how much one cared for the other, they would run into a crossway eventually and one would go down one path and one down the other.

Rather than dwelling on it, he decides the better option is to let bygones be bygones, the end result is that Yune will receive disciplinary action for what she did. Daniel simply doesn't have the authority to deny this, he has to let Yune do this alone, trying to butt in at this point will only make this worse for everyone. So, they continue on, but thankfully, her disciplinary action would end right as a special event would ensue.
