A Beautiful Tragedy

Chapter Three

Harianna pov-
*buzzzzz buzzzz buzzzz*
I turn over cursing at the alarm I swore I turned off, picking up my phone I realize it's not my alarm at all, but a phone call. I slide the screen to answer and hear the voice on the other line. "Rise and shine, I'm in your drive way and we're going to spend today together!" I giggle to myself, it's Lou, "Come inside! I just woke up, and I'm going to have to get ready." The line goes dead and next thing I hear is excited chants from Leo that his favorite football coach in the whole wide world is here. I get out of bed throwing on the sweat pants that lay on the floor, and open my bedroom door; Elouise lets herself in as I dig through my closet looking for something to wear. "What exactly is it you plan on taking me to do?" I ask, after several minutes of searching for an outfit. "Now that's a surprise, just dress comfortable and hurry up!" I run into my bathroom to throw on my favorite jeans and a flannel, I brush my teeth, put on some powder and mascara, gel my overly excited curls and walk out. That's when I realize just how good Lou actually looks today (well everyday) she has on black skinny jeans and a black tee with a sassy quote of some sort. She's even wearing eyeliner, she never wears eyeliner.. Her boots are a bit dirty and beat up, but I love them. Something about today excites me way more than it should.

Elouise Pov-
I'm so pumped for what I have in mind for today, Hari looks so beautiful as we drive through her neighborhood heading to my favorite place in the world to eat lunch, a small diner just outside of Doncaster where I'm from. It's a little over an hour long drive from Manchester where I'm going to Uni and coaching but I know it'll be worth it. We make small talk and laugh a lot, the music a little too loud, and the casual touches a little too often, until we finally pull up to Whitbys. "This is it!" I say with a wide smile and she gives me an odd look before getting out I start to worry that she won't like it. But when we make eye contact and she gives me a sweet smile I feel secured. We're seated and looking through the menus when the waitress comes to take our order, "Uh, yes, I'll have the.. Fish and chips, battered, cod.. Regular, not small." I say with a chuckle. Then it was Hari's turn, "I'll take a poached salmon salad, please." And she smiled that sweet smile of hers. We ate, and she loved it, and we laughed.
I spent the afternoon showing her around the town that I grew up in and when it got dark I took her to the carnival. I remember her telling me how she loved carnivals, and how she always wanted to go on a date to one. So I brought her, even if she didn't consider it a date.

Harianna Pov-
My hair is a mess, and I've had butterflies all day. Lou is walking next to me, telling me jokes, and making me laugh. "Do you want to ride the Ferris wheel?" She asks with a bright smile, "yes." I say quietly, and she grabs my hand pulling me through the crowd. We're waiting in line and she asks me if I've ever been on one before. The answer is yes, of course I have, I just hate heights. She laughs, telling me how she'll hold my hand if I get scared and she smirks, she always smirks. Slowly, we make the circle and finally we reach the top, I gasp looking over and grab her hand without thinking. As I realize what I'm doing I start blushing and she looks at me and smiles, I don't let go. I'm pretty sure this has been the best day I've had in a long time..
