"Hey, Kame-chan, check it out—it's Lili!"
"Lili."
The shopkeeper took out a clean cloth and began to dab it on Lili's wound, and she bit her lips at the stinging sensation. Suo placed her down gently and noticed the yellow jacket they wore.
"Yo." The one with messy black hair said, waving his hand lazily at Lili.
Lili winced, noticing the one next to the tall figure.
"Tomiyama?"
"We were just passing," Togame said, waving his hand at her. His green eyes pierced her through the glasses he wore.
"Lili-chan, did you see a cat with brown eyes here?" He looked at her, bouncing up and down as he peeked behind them.
Behind Lili was Furin, somewhere they can't step into without facing the consequences.
"Not too sure," she said, ruffling her hair, a sense of dread filling her. Where they here to start a fight with Furin?
"Had a fight?" Togame crouched down, noticing the iron bar around. He seemed to maintain his distance, seeing the eye-patched man beside him.
"There are a lot of cool fighters here, Kame-chan!" Choji yelled, tugging Togame's jacket in excitement. The small patch of turf shared by Furin and Shishitoren became a spot where many seized the opportunity to engage in fights.
"Yeah," the man grunted, noticing the bandage on Lili's ankle, which she covered by pulling down her jeans.
"Like that eye patch man over there!" Choji pointed at Suo, balling his fists at him. Togame stood and held Choji by his shirt.
"Looks like Furin is a little interesting now," he said smugly, his gaze lingering at Suo, who looked unfazed. He nodded at Lili and walked away with Choji bouncing by his side.
Choji's eyes looked different from the last time she had seen them.
