Gaitonde stood before Abhir, a smirk playing on his lips despite the gravity of the situation. Abhir's voice echoed through the dimly lit warehouse, commanding Gaitonde to surrender.
"Gaitonde, you are under arrest! Hands up and dare you move--I will shoot you!" Abhir shouted, his gun steady in his grip.

A glint of defiance sparkled in Gaitonde's eyes as he retorted, "ACP Abhir, remember your child Saisha? She is with my men--anything can happen!"

Abhir's heart clenched at the mention of his beloved daughter. Thoughts of her innocent smile and contagious laughter flooded his mind, but he couldn't show weakness in front of a criminal like Gaitonde.

"I have to protect and serve my motherland, and God will save my child. I am doing my duty. I have promised to serve and protect. I have taken the oath. I will die protecting my country," Abhir declared with unwavering determination.

Gaitonde's laughter filled the warehouse, chilling Abhir to the bone. "Your sense of duty will be the end of you, ACP. Your daughter's life hangs in the balance, yet you choose your nation over her."

As the standoff continued, Abhir weighed his options. He knew Gaitonde was capable of unspeakable acts, but he couldn't let fear dictate his actions. Taking a deep breath, he raised his gun with steady hands, ready to confront the villain before him.

In a swift motion, Gaitonde made a move towards a hidden exit, but Abhir's reflexes were quicker. He fired a warning shot, causing Gaitonde to freeze in his tracks.

"Enough, Gaitonde! It's over. Surrender now!" Abhir's voice boomed with authority, his eyes filled with steely resolve.

Gaitonde's facade crumbled, revealing a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. He knew he was caught, his grand plan foiled by the unyielding determination of ACP Abhir.

With a defeated sigh, Gaitonde raised his hands in surrender, knowing that his reign of terror had come to an end. As the authorities closed in to take him into custody, Abhir's thoughts drifted to his daughter Saisha, praying she was safe and unharmed.

''Armaan we are coming! Gaitonde is under arrest--we will be reaching the court soon!'' He said on call.

''Sir, I have your daughter with you and she is safe and sound, she wants to talk.''

Abhir's face lifted up with happiness.

''Saisha wasn't kidnapped?'' He asked.

''Actually she was on the verge of getting kidnapped ACP sir. I had seen her with some men so I had rushed to her aid''

''Mitali- thank you so much''

''Am I dreaming--ACP Abhir Sharma is thanking me?''

''Can we just pause our daily fights and focus on the case--Miss Mitali?''

''Oh ok and be safe'' Mitali said softly and Abhir tried to believe that she was the same neighbor that used to fight with him unnecessarily.

''Today is truly a good day.'' He muttered to himself
