"Fine, just has some complications in his arm but Yahya said he'll gain full movement in his arm in a few months if he follows the treatment plan thoroughly.Other than that, He'll be discharged in a few days." Khizr told him, switching his gaze between the PC and the accounts placed on the table in front.

"Who was it?" Yazid questioned, he knew Khizr would never let such an attack slide. Khizr called his secretary in to give him yet another task. Yazid felt bad for the teen guy who was forced to work under Khizr. "Go easy man, he's just a kid."

"I'm going easy on him, he hasn't seen the workload of Faiz." Khizr defended himself.

"Did Faiz find out who he was?" Yazid tried to divert the topic to the previous question.

Khizr replied after a few seconds, "Malik."

"Malik?That trafficker? " Yazid questioned, trying to see if he heard it right and he received the confirmation from "How are you going to get your hands on him?"

Yazid frowned in confusion after seeing the side of his lips turn into a handsome smirk, "You seem to be very out of touch with reality, Yazid. Did you not bother checking the news after coming back?"

Yazid's frown intensified and confusion took over him completely, he grabbed the remote that was placed on Khizr's desk and turned the TV on.

"We have received another hot breaking news from the police this morning, what can only be described as a shocking scandal. Malik Khan, the renowned textile tycoon known for his influence in the industry, has been implicated in a human trafficking operation. This startling revelation comes after private police agents conducted a covert investigation, uncovering Khan's involvement in the illegal trade."

Yazid was shocked by the news was an understatement, his eyes widened and his eyebrows raised in astonishment.Mouth slightly agape as he took in the words of the news anchor. This was something he did not expect for atleast the next month.

"In response, the police commissioner has ordered an extended investigation to uncover the full scope of this operation. The government has announced that Malik Khan's business will be taken over by government charities. This move aims to ensure that the assets of Khan's company are redirected towards supporting victims and other charitable causes. "Wow, so much happened whilst I was away." Yazid laughed in astonishment, happy at what he has just heard. "I'll give you this man; very smart move."

"You have to take seize the opportunity when it arises."Khizr smirked. "It definitely wasn't what I planned, but it worked out perfect."

Yazid nodded in agreement with a proud smile,until a question struck his mind "So, you're letting the commissioner have his way with Farooq?"

Khizr looked up from his work, "Never. Farooq will die a death designed by me-a torture that will make him beg for an easy death. Maybe, if his daughter wants an easy death for him then I'll allow her to shoot him?"

"Easy death for him and mental trauma for the rest of her life for Amal."Yazid said, dryly."Keep Amal out of this. You shouldn't have dragged her into this in the first place."

"You were right, I shouldn't have dragged her into this."He admitted. "She's pretty useless."

"With this attitude, Khizr you are not getting her back." Yazid spoke with all honesty, slightly taken aback by his choice of words.
