AN: I'm so sorry I haven't updated in ages.. I had anoughter story I was working on and just finished it off recently. My attention will now be solely on this book for the next few weeks whilst I prepare for my next story. I am also going to try adding in more detail for extra information and such! Enjoy reading!

****Izuku POV - Age: 13 - Time: 3:32pm****

Izu: "Kacchan!"

Kats: "Yeah?"

Izu: "Wanna come round mine after school!"

Kats: "Okay sure! You start off ahead, I need to sit detention again.."

Izu: "Kacchan you don't have to fight the bullies for me.. I'll be fine."

Kacchan looked at me, raising an eyebrow of disbelief. He stood up from repacking his rucksack and came up to me, putting his right hand on my shoulder.

Kats: "Deku. I will protect you no matter what. I don't care if I get detention or something."

Izu: "But -"

Kats: "Shut up! I. Don't. Care. Go home and tell Auntie I'm coming over later, I think old hag will be there anyways. I'll be there in an hour or so."

Izu: "I- okay.. see you soon Kacchan!"

I smiled, shifting my bag on my back. Kacchan grunted, trying to suppress a smirk, grabbing up his bag from the floor and walking off. I called after him, saying good bye and he held his hand up above his shoulder, showing he had heard me. My smile grew wider. Whenever Kacchan came over it was a good day.

We always trained when he came over. I would defend the 'base', normally a overturned crate or an All Might stuffy, and he would attack. During this I would try to dodge his attacks and land hits on him, analysing his speed, trajectory and ability to change moves under different circumstances. He would do the same for me, defending a different base, due to the fact he always blew up the bases, and analyse my moves. From this we had discovered that Kacchan was able to fight at any distance, however better in large areas, and I was much better at close range due to my quirk, although being adaptable to different environments.

Training happened every week, two or three times. We would do it all year round, occasionally having mum or Aunt Mitsuki to help us train. Mum would give us moving targets to try and attack, normally branches or small objects, and Aunt Mitsuki trapping areas of the ground making them slippery. It was extremely fun, jumping and running around the field behind my flat, even in the different weather conditions. It just made us more resilient and hopeful of getting into UA when we hit 16. We both knew that there was the practical and written exam of the UA entrance exam, however we were only focused on the practical part for now as we were both high scorers in the normal school exams.

I hummed quietly to myself, turning down an alley, a short cut back to my flat.

Kacchan had his own notebook on my shelf, containing all the different details of his attacks and defences. There was a large amount of crossing out in the book where I had changed my notes based on his progress through the days training. It mainly stayed the same, however each time his strength, stamina and the power from his explosions had increased. I also had a diary on the shelf next to the notebook. It contained all the training we had done in the day. I started keeping track of out training sessions a month or two after we had started, realising that we mainly trained our attacks. That was the reason I had the diary. At the front, scrawled over the inside of the cover, I had written down certain dates to train our muscular strength and durability. This meant that we would go to different places to train. Normally Aunt Mitsuki would take us to her work place which had a out door pavilion that was normally used as a runway for fashion shows, however her co-workers seemed to love me and Kacchan, allowing us to use the area to exercise and train. They didn't mind how much damage we made to the grassy area as they had someone with a plant-ish quirk working in a seperate area who could restore the damaged land.
