"Cmon ma" I said waking her up as we had her 2 months mark doctors appointments. "Okayyy I'm up" she said mumbling wiping her eyes.
We then got up and took a shower, brushed our teeth,washed our face, and Mani did her hair. After she did her hair we left out the door.
"You hungry ma?" I said looking at her and the road while driving. She then nodded her head and I continued driving
I then pulled into Denny's drive thru and we ordered our food. We git our food and ate in the car. We than headed to her doctors appointment.
We got there and went up to the front desk to check in. "Imani Bennet" She said as the nurse nodded typing something in.
We then went to go sit down in the waiting area. "Last name Benet?" The doctor said coming out We then got up going to the back.
When we got in and the nurse asked Mani a bunch of questions and she filled out some paperwork. The nurse soon left and about 15 minutes later the doctor came in.
"Hello there Imani" The doctor said "so I just need you to sit right up here the doctor said making Mani nod and to sit on the bed.
The doctor then reclined the bed and hit some gel and this tool and put some of the green gel on her stomach.
The doctor then made a frowned up face before looking to me and Mani. "I'm sorry Imani. She's gone" the doctor said walking up to Mani embracing her.
We then walked out going back to the car. The ride was silent before Mani looked to me. "Why couldn't I just do anything right. I couldn't even be a mother right. She's gone. And It's my fault"
She said as her eyes started welling up. "Bae. It's not your fault. It's your mom's fault if anything" I said as I was lost for words. I mean it was my baby too.
