While I was working, I saw a customer's orange shirt that says, "Tag, you're it!" with a grim reaper chasing down a bunch of kids in a classic drawing style. Then my gears started turning. Oh, boy. Here we go again. Another story idea. Not sure what to do yet, but it was a good idea. Besides, Halloween is just around the corner. What a perfect time to write something scary. I've never tried writing under this genre because I have always stuck to romance since writing online in 2011. But I really want to test the waters with this novel I'm currently brewing.
I grew up loving horror slasher films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Scream, Hellraiser, Thirteen Ghosts, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play, Psycho, and later on when I got a little older, the movies I know What You did Last Summer, Saw, Trick 'r Treat and then I also enjoyed reading books from R.L. Stine's Goosebumps and his Fear Street books adapted into movies.
I'm not sure what to expect with this story, but all I know is I have a clear outline until the end. I do hope you enjoy this novel.
XOXO Katie
