Xerxes, born in 1782, joined the French military at the age of 18, eager to protect his country. He never knew what would arise in 12 years, though he did not regret joining either way.

Xerxes' childhood was complete and utter despair. He was abandoned by his father and mother, left to survive on his own in France. For the first 12 years of his life, he was completely on his own, witnessing the worst of humanity as a peasant.

Luckily, a French General known as Jean had a kind heart towards him. He adopted him legally and was the first person to show Xerxes kindness. Jean was a role model to Xerxes.

Since Jean was in the Military at that time, it inspired Xerxes.

He wanted to be remembered as a legend, a great man, and a savior of all. Jean encouraged the young Xerxes because he knew he had potential and the spirit for it.

Unfortunately, in 1800, Jean died in battle.
Of course, he died saving his regiment.

Xerxes was broken.
His heart severed.

Jean was the only person who cared about him
and loved him for himself.

To honor Jean, Xerxes continued his legacy thus joining the military at the ripe age of 18.

Fast forward 12 years later,
there was news of the undead crawling out of their graves and massacring towns in hordes.

Xerxes didn't believe it, until one day, during the Siege of San Sebastián . . .
