"ABHIMAAN'S POV"

"So, when are you both coming back" I asked

"Why? You should be happy to have the whole mansion for you and your wife" Mom teased

Wife!

After that day, Vrinda never asked me anything else about dad. And I was glad she didn't. Because I won't have had the answers of her questions.

March passed in a blink of eye while Vrinda was busy with some other cases which had final hearings. And She was fantastic. One would never believe she's the same Vrinda which I see every day.

She's more fierce, more bold, more elegant and of course I kind of see a female version of myself when I see her in court. And this I know when I was in the jury once.

Spring was blooming in NY city in April and so was this woman.

"See, as soon as we say wife, he zones out" Mom said and Aadi laughed like dogs.

"You both don't have any other work then this right" I asked

"Though where is our baby" Mom asked and I titled the phone towards their baby who was gobbling her pancakes like she never saw them before.

And as she saw the phone on her face, she coughed her mouth filled with pancakes and I smirked as I patted her back handing her a glass of water.

"Easy there Baby. These aren't the last pancakes on earth" I mocked as she gulped the water.

"Shut up Abhimaan. Hey mom, Aadi" She wished

"I hope we didn't disturb your breakfast Vrinda" Mom asked

"No mom. I was actually a bit late and people didn't have etiquettes to wait for me at breakfast table" She spoke glaring me.

"I thought she's taking a leave" I defended myself

"Yeah, when boss is you how can a poor soul take a leave" She retorted

"But bhabhi you're basically boss's wife. So doesn't it make you're a boss too." Aadi said and she denied

"I'm missing you two a lot. Come soon na. I feel alone at home" She frowned and I raised a brow.

What am I doing here. Being a ghost!

"Abhi isn't Ghost Vrinda. He's there right" Mom chuckled and I looked at her demanding an answer .

"He's a ghost. He doesn't even watch movies. He's boring" She said scrunching her nose.

"Boring? Me? " I asked

"Tell me the last time you saw a movie completely without dozing off" She demanded

"She's right bhai. You sleep in between movies" Aadi supported her.

I looked at my watch & then at all of them.

"Discussion for sometime later. I've a meeting in half an hour. Vrinda, hurry up. Mom, Aadi, Bye " I spoke seriously now and stood up.

"Bye mom" She said and cut the call but then looked at me a bit shocked.

"What happ.. " Before I could say my eyes travelled to the screen of my phone and I looked at it.

"What's wrong with her" I muttered looking at three missed calls from Tanya Dewani when Vrinda stood up handing me my phone.

I blocked her number but this mad woman registers new numbers on her name and is calling me.

"Vrinda lis.. " I was saying before which she spoke.
