This is the hard reality of humanity humans are naturally sinful or evil. And the following verses would prove this statement. "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV21) "5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagining of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." (Genesis 6:5 KJV) "And Jesus said unto him, "Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but One, that is, God" (Mark 10:18) These verses clearly state we are evil, our hearts are deceitful and wicked, and that only God is good which Jesus himself states that. He states that because he wants everyone to know that God is only good. So no matter what you do you'll always sin but we can stop sinning since we have free will. Not to mention with Jesus help he sends us Holy Spirit to stop sinning and to stop being evil. Yes God's spirit is what helps us to be good not us, so don't take credit for being good when it is job helping us be good. Because if God's Holy Spirit leaves we are left without protection from our thoughts, and evil spirits that want us to sin; and 100% of the people would sin. Only through the glory and grace from God may we become good, and we must depend on Jesus to keep us from sinning. Of course since Jesus understands that humans are naturally evil we will sin and he will forgive us. It's in our nature to sin while in the flesh, Jesus our savior understands this because he wast also tempted by Satan. Since Jesus experienced this first hand he fully understands our position within this world. Which is why he died for us, and he loves us and wants us in his Kingdom. After all he came to save the world not condemn it, and he will knock into our hearts. It is up us to let Jesus inside in order to be saved, that's why it states that we must accept Jesus Christ as our savior to be saved. So when you sin because you were tempted remember this, that temptation is there for you to grow. You learn from your mistakes and soon you'll never do it again. Think of it as tough love, some people need to learn the way to stop sinning.
