𝑨 𝑭𝑬𝑾 𝑫𝑨𝒀𝑺 𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑹, elizabeth was stationed upstairs in her room with hawks watching over her since she had caught a cold, ban and king were downstairs minding their own business and daine was outside hidden behind the trees of the forest.

suddenly a loud thud echoed through the building. meliodas burst downstairs, his hair in disarray, and ducked behind the counter, trying to hide from view.

king and ban look at meliodas confused, eliel bounded down the stairs, his breath coming in ragged gasps. he clutched a comb and a brush in his hand, his eyes darting around the tavern, searching for something.

eliel's voice echoed through the tavern, his frustration and concern evident in his tone. "where is he?!" he called out, his eyes darting around the room, searching every nook and cranny.

ban and king looked up, surprised by eliel's outburst. they exchanged curious glances, meliodas, still hidden behind the counter, winced at eliel's raised voice.

eliel continued to scan the room, his eyes narrowing as he spotted the counter where meliodas was hidden. "i know you're there," he said, his voice tight with irritation. "come out now."

meliodas, realizing he'd been caught hastily jumped up and made a dash for the tavern's front door, just as he reached the door, eliel's voice rang out, sharp and authoritative. "bastard!" eliel yelled, throwing the brush at meliodas.

but meliodas was quick, his instincts and reflexes kicked in, and he swiftly ducked, avoiding the flying brush.

the thrown brush missed meliodas and struck a different target—a blond-haired child standing nearby, with a curly-haired boy by his side.

the brush made contact with the blond-haired boy, causing him to fall back onto his behind, the blond-haired child groaned, rubbing his head where the brush had hit him. eliel quickly walked over to the door, pushing meliodas aside, concern etched on his face as he approached the child.

"are you okay?" he asked, his voice softer now as he knelt down to check on the child's well—being.

the child quickly jumped up, his expression filled with anger, and jabbed a finger at Eliel. "white-haired maiden!" the child exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of annoyance and indignation.

"how dare you!" the angered child continued, his voice loud and authoritative. "i, the captain of the seven deadly sins peliodas, won't forgive you!"

meanwhile, meliodas was watching incredulously from the side, trying to hold back a chuckle, it was both humorous and entertaining to see the young child impersonating him with such conviction.

eliel's eye twitched in irritation as he gripped the door tightly, his knuckles turning white, ban and king had just walked over, joining the scene.

they stood beside eliel, their expressions a mix of amusement and concern at the unfolding situation.
