Yoongi stood next to Jungkook, his thoughts racing as he replayed the earlier interaction with Ria. He noticed Jungkook's sudden scream, turning to him with concern. "Jungkook, are you okay? What's wrong?"

Jungkook hesitated, his eyes reflecting a turmoil of emotions. "I don't know, hyung... I just have this strong feeling that something is wrong with Ria. And I don't understand why she was crying..."

Yoongi's expression grew serious, studying Jungkook intently. "Jungkook, do you like her?" His voice was steady, almost probing.

Jungkook looked down, unsure of his feelings. "Maybe... I don't know. But seeing her with tears on her face... it hurts, hyung. I couldn't stand it."

Yoongi sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Jungkook, she's engaged. We can't change that. Let's focus on what's important right now. I'll check on her."

Meanwhile, Taehyung had silently followed Ria as she hurried back to her desk, her tears uncontrollable. Seeing her in distress broke something inside him. Without a word, he wrapped her in a comforting hug, his arms tightening around her as her body shook with sobs.

With her voice trembling, Ria mumbled through her tears, "I'm sorry, Tae. I didn't know he would ask about the mark... I'm really sorry. Please, don't do anything."

Taehyung's heart felt like it had stopped beating. The weight of her fear and guilt pressed heavily on him. "Ria, please... It's okay. I'm here, and I promise I’ll fix this. I'm sorry too... for everything. I lost control, and I shouldn't have."

His voice was thick with emotion as he gently touched the mark on her neck, the one he'd left in a moment of passion and regret. He buried his face in the curve of her neck, feeling her warmth, her vulnerability. "I'm so sorry," he whispered again, his tears mingling with hers.

Ria slowly calmed, feeling his remorse. She lifted her arms and wrapped them around him, holding him close. "I know, Tae. We’ll get through this. We just need to be careful... and hope things get better."

She pulled back slightly, cupping his face with her hands, wiping away his tears with her thumbs. Taehyung’s breath hitched as he looked into her eyes, seeing the trust and forgiveness there. It made him feel even more protective of her. He leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I don’t know what I’d do without you," he confessed, his voice cracking with emotion.

Just then, Yoongi entered the room, his eyes scanning the scene. "Is everything okay?" he asked, though the tension in his voice showed he wasn’t entirely convinced.

Jungkook, who had followed Yoongi, stopped dead in his tracks at the doorway, his eyes widening in shock as he witnessed Taehyung kissing Ria’s forehead. The sight sent a jolt of confusion and unease through him.

Taehyung quickly wiped his tears, turning to face Yoongi with a shaky smile. "Yes, hyung. We’re fine... We were just... talking."

Yoongi kept his gaze on Ria, noticing the lingering sadness in her eyes despite her attempt to smile. He knew there was more to this than they were letting on, but he decided to hold back for now. "Tae," Yoongi said, his tone firm, "Remember, she's not supposed to shed tears. I don't know what happened here, but if I find out you've hurt her in any way, you'll have to go through me. I don’t care if you’re engaged. She’ll always have my back. She’s someone very important to me."

Taehyung felt a knot tighten in his stomach, realizing how serious Yoongi was. The weight of his words hung in the air, and Taehyung nodded, his voice trembling. "I won’t hurt her, Yoongi. I... I love her."

Ria quickly walked to Yoongi, sensing the rising tension. "We're really fine, Yoongi. It was just... embarrassing, so I ran away. That’s all."

Yoongi studied her face, the pain in her eyes conflicting with her words. He wasn't fully convinced, but he nodded. "If you say so."
