Johnny was talking complete and utter shite. Every time I thought he was close to saying something normal, he would spit out more nonsense. But honestly, I love it. He was being mental and it was fucking hilarious.
"Look at that face," he whispered, staring up at me with a peculiar expression. "I'm gonna keep you."
"Okay." Relenting to his madness, I coaxed him to lie back on his pillow. "You can keep me."
Sitting beside him on his bed, I leaned forward, and stroked his cheek. His hands were wrapped around my waist, but not so tightly now. "Close your eyes," I told him softly. "I'll be here when you wake up.""I love your tits," he informed me then.
"You haven't seen them." I frowned.
He nodded solemnly. "I have."
I shook my head. "No, you must be thinking about someone else.""I'm only ever thinking about you," he replied. "Only you." I tried to slip out of his grip, and sit back down on the chair, but he swiftly pulled me back. "Sleep with me."
"Johnny, you're just after surgery," I sighed. "You need to rest."
He shook his head before pouting, "Stay with me."
"Okay" I finally gave in, scooting closer, and laying next to him. "I'll stay with you."
"You're not clumsy, Gracie" he slurred.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Who's hurting you, baby?" he slurred sleepily. He yawned loudly and then sighed. "I'll fix it." He knew. I was fucked.
"No one" I replied, looking up at him. "You're talking out of your arse."
He chuckled, "Can I talk to your arse?"
I shook my head, "You can talk to my face."
"But I like your ass" he replied.
"Go to sleep, you waffler" I laughed, and just like that he drifted off.
