{Five in this story is only 18, so the beginning is taking place not too long after he jumped and got stuck in the apocalypse}

"We don't have much food left Dolores…I'll have to go on another long ass journey to find some.” He sighed while finishing his last can of beans "I don't know how long it will take us to eat all the food that's left and move…the most we can do is-” at this moment, Five was interrupted by a blue flash appearing in front of him. He began thinking that this was only an atmospheric incident, but no. There, right in front of him, a lady dressed in a black, leather looking dress with a white, curly bob walked out of the blue light, holding a black, rather large briefcase.

As soon as the flash appeared, it disappeared, leaving Five with the mysterious woman. Five reached for the gun, as fast as he could, which was sitting right beside him and jumped in front of the mannequin to protect her.
"Don't worry, Five. There's no need for violence.” She explained while giving Five a rather evil smile while slightly tilting her head down. How does she know my name? Five was wondering what was going on, but he didn't dare to put his guard down for the sake of Dolores.
"There's no need to be afraid. Five, I don't bite.” The ruins of the empty building, in the dystopian city, were filled to the brim with silence. If that building was a cup and silence a liquid, the cup would be overflowing. The lady looked around and found a tall rock. She brushed the remaining dust off of it and sat down, still holding the briefcase in her hand while not breaking eye contact with Five.
"I came to recruit you.” The woman broke the silence. Recruit?
"You would be supplied with good food and a comfy place to stay. You would also be given a job. It's a chance handed to you on a silver platter. It's a chance given once in a lifetime.” Once again, silence filled the dystopian ruins.
"Where's the catch?” Five questioned.
"There is no catch! It's just managing the timeline! My daughter will explain everything to you!” She explained as she got up and began playing with the locket on the briefcase, "So what is it Five? Are you coming with me or are you staying?” He thought about it for a moment. He looked at Dolores, then at the woman. He would look back and forth for about a minute.
"Fine.” He let out a sigh as he dropped the gun on the ground and slowly walked up to the woman. She held her hand out, giving Five a signal to grab it. He grabbed it, and they both disappeared within the blue flash…
