Marella POV.
She wouldn't would she? Yes, she betrayed us but...I just really hope she didn't do that. If she did... I...I don't know...I don't know what to think anymore. Before she ran away and everyone was yelling at her I remained silent. Not because I knew what happened, and not because I trusted that she didn't do it. I was too busy...busy thinking.
Sophie and I always had a rocky friendship it wasn't very smooth. So we didn't have many good memories together, so i was just wondering, wondering if the little bit of a bond we had even through our rocky friendship was fake.
"The Collective is going to be very busy. We need to be getting the file back before the Neverseen have a good look at the entire file. And now even worse, we have clear proof that the Moonlark has betrayed us because some of the gnomes tell me that they looked like they were searching for something in particular. Nothing other than the registry file has been stolen, so they were aiming for the registry file. If they know about the registry file someone must have told them. I trust that it was no one in the Collective. And that leaves the Moonlark. Some more plans will have to be changed because now we have more clear evidence of betrayal. After my brother died, we had a huge plan on making Ms.Foster a member of the Collective. It was too hard to keep up with being Sir Astin, principal of Foxfire, and a member of the Collective at the same time. And don't forget my other identities as well. We thought Ms.Foster could take over my position in the Collective and I could focus on being all of my identities. But now as you can see, things have changed." None other than Mr.Forkle said
When I think about it, it must be hard fot Mr.Forkle, having to deal with the loss of his brother, being all of his many identities at the same time, and being betrayed by someone he trusted a lot, someone he basically created. I instantly felt really bad for him. And yes, I can feel bad for others. You know, just because I'm a pyrokinetic doesn't mean that I can't be something nice.
"Okay, you know what, the Collectove will come up with a good solution or something, so there is absolutely-" Alden started
"No Reason To Worry" everyone finished with him while glaring at him pretty bad. I was actually surprised he didn't die. I'm pretty sure he was getting hard death glares.
"Anyway, I'm guessing everybody is staying over for some Lunch?" Della said not completely sure of the answer.
Everyone except me nodded their heads.
"I need to check with my parents first, Let me hail them real quick." I said grabbing my imparter from my pocket.
I hailed my dad and when he answered I asked him if I could stay at Everglen for Lunch.
"Yes you can but what time will you be home?" he asked me.
"After we eat Lunch we will be going to Havenfield to search for some clues, so I'm not completely sure when that will be finished." I answered.
"Ok, Bye" My dad said and cut the call. I turned around a gave a thumbs-up to everyone and said
"Yup! I can stay over."
"Great!" Della said clapping her hand" Everyone, to the dining room."
Everyone followed Della to the dining room which as enormous, but what did I except, it was the Vackers.
"Take a seat!" Della said to us all. When everyone was seated in the very comfortable chairs, she clapped her hands and a bunch of tasty looking food started appearing in front of us. I thought the food was never going to stop appearing. Well, it did stop appearing but that was a whole lot of food, might I add, tasty looking food. I ate until I was completely satisfied, I didn't even know the name of half of the things I was eating. I ate this orange gloop, then some green jelly sort of things, and then this blue and purple bread sort of thing. For dessert, I ate some Mallowmelt and Ripplepuffs. And for a beverage, I had some Lushberry juice.
"Thank for lunch Mrs.Vacker!" I very politely said. Or atleast the most polite i can get.
"We are going back to Havenfield right? To search Sophie's room for any clues that will give us an answer for why we were betrayed." Keefe said trying to confirm if we were going or not. Poor boy was way too loyal to Sophie but that girl is way too oblivious.
"Yes we are going to Havenfield." Biana answered
Everyone linked hands, I was holding Linh and Dex's hand.
"Ready?" Fitz asked everyone.
"Yes" we all replied.
Fitz held the pathfinder up to the sun and spun the knobs on the pathfinder. We all lightleaped to Havenfield. We reached the pastures which weren't very welcoming anymore ever since she left.
"C'mon let's go!" Keefe said eagerly
