Bradley's Perspective:

After departing from Max, I found myself blushing uncontrollably. I tried to convince myself, "No, Bradley, you can't fall in love with Max. I won't say I'm am in love." I headed inside the library, grabbed a chair, and patiently waited for Max.

It felt like an eternity, but after about 5 minutes, Max finally arrived at the library. He entered and started searching for me, and I decided to make him work for it since he was the one who was late. Finally, I couldn't keep it in any longer and I called out, "I'm over here, Max." He was surprised and exclaimed, "Oh, Bradley, why didn't you call me out?" I teased him, "You should be the one finding me." He looked a bit down as he sat next to me, and I couldn't help but giggle. "What do you want to start with, Maxie?" I said, which shocked him. "No one calls me Maxie except my dad," he protested, leaving me feeling a bit embarrassed as my face turned as red as a tomato. "Shut up!" I said playfully, and we began our studies.

Two hours later, ...

Max and I had been studying for quite a while, and by 6:53 pm, we were both feeling pretty tired. We realized that the library was about to close at 7 pm. I suggested to Max that we could grab dinner at the new pizza place on the next street, and he agreed. After gathering our things, we set off for the pizza place.

After a short walk, we finally reached the pizza place, and Max was getting impatient because he was really hungry. We found a table, and as we waited for the waiter to take our orders, Max kept complaining about his hunger. Finally, a woman approached our table to take our order. I decided to go for a pepperoni pizza, while Max opted for chicken wings. We sat back and waited for our orders to arrive.

A few minutes later...

Max's point of view:

After what felt like an eternity, our order finally arrived. The sight of the food made me giddy with excitement, and Bradley wasted no time tucking in. The flavors were exquisite, and in a rare quiet moment, Bradley broke the silence.

"So, are you free tomorrow?" he inquired, looking at me with genuine curiosity. As he looked up from his plate, I couldn't help but notice how captivating his eyes were.

"No, why?" I replied, intrigued. "Oh, because we could study more for the test on Aug 20," he suggested. I couldn't resist teasing him. "Ah, Bradley Uppercrust is asking me out on a date?" I joked, unable to stifle a chuckle.

"NO, THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!" he stammered, his face turning a shade of red that even his fingers seemed to mirror. "Cute," I murmured, barely audible. "What did you say?" he pressed, causing my cheeks to flush. "UHM, NOTHING!" I quickly interjected.

Upon finishing our meal, Bradley's offer to pay left me with an inexplicable pang of guilt. As we exited the establishment and went our separate ways, a twinge of sadness overcame me. I found myself missing him and blushing at the thought. "Me missing Bradley? Ridiculous," I rebuked myself, chuckling as I repeated it like a mantra.

Finally reaching my dorm, room 326, I hoped to see my roommate. However, as I stepped inside, I was left utterly speechless.

Standing before me was none other than BRADLEY UPPERCRUST THE III.

The two of us locked eyes, hanging in the air for a fleeting moment before breaking the oppressive silence.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" came the sharp question, snapping me out of my thoughts. I couldn't help but smile though, it was a relief that Bradley was my roommate - it meant I got to see him every single day.

Finally finding my voice, I replied, "What? This is my room." Hearing his indignant response, I couldn't stifle a giggle at his disbelief.

"WHAT'S FUNNY ABOUT FRESHMAN?" he fired back, the anger evident in his eyes. Ignoring his outburst, I made my way over to my bed and promptly collapsed onto it, closing my eyes to shut out his complaints.

As he continued grumbling about having me as a roommate, I let the sound of his voice fade into the background, drifting off to sleep.

Bradley's Perspective:

Max just dozed off in the middle of our conversation! It was quite amusing watching him sleep so peacefully; it made me feel a bit drowsy myself. His tousled hair, serene expression, and gentle smile were oddly captivating. It's not like I have feelings for him or anything! I chuckled at the thought and decided to freshen up in the bathroom.

As I splashed my face with cold water and began brushing my teeth, thoughts of Max unexpectedly filled my mind, causing me to blush. "Stop it, Bradley. You're not interested in him," I whispered to myself.

But was I not interested? My face grew warm, and I struggled to shake off the thoughts. It took a while, but I eventually managed to compose myself. After leaving the bathroom, I turned off the light, settled onto my bed, and started pondering these unfamiliar feelings. As I lay down and covered my eyes with my hands, I tried to drift off to sleep. After a few minutes, As Max finally turned to look at me, I couldn't help but notice how cute he looked while sleeping. It made me smile before I finally fell asleep, but not before I mumbled something to myself, "I love you." While sleeping, I couldn't help but blush uncontrollably.
