Lauren had mixed feelings when she saw who was the visitor.

Without control, drops of tears escaped her eyes.

Agent Moscoon had a worried look plastered on his face when he walked in. His black hair was messy this time, as it wasn't styled.

Lauren had the urge to punch him in the face. She could even kick his weak spot in any moment.

However, part of her had sympathy for him. She haven't found out why.

"I....came here to.......confess." Agent Moscoon said, timidly.

Urm...that sounded...weird

"Go on." She said with a shaky voice.

"Mrs Williams.......I'm truly sorry.......I was the one who killed your fiancé.......even if it was on accident........"

"I know what happened. The police officer told me." Lauren said with a cold voice.

He knelt down in front of Lauren, with tears in his eyes.

"Please.......forgive me. I'll do anything.....as long as you're willing to forgive me."

They stared at each other for a long moment.

He actually gone all the trouble to come here to confess......

Should I forgive him? After all the lies he had told me?

I think not.

Lauren looked at him with piercing, cold eyes. Lauren was about to say no to him like a cruel tiger talking to its prey.

Then a thought came to her.

But he did try to save Jacob.

He sacrificed the salaries he earned. He regretted his actions.

He regretted his actions.

I shouldn't spend eternity having a grudge on someone....

Maybe.....

I should let it go.

Lauren pulled Agent Moscoon up, and slowly gave him a hug.

"Agent Moscoon......I forgive you."

Agent Moscoon was extremely surprised.

Then he hugged her back, with tears rolling down his cheeks.

Words didn't need to be used at that moment.

Wow.

Amelia was somewhere in the corner, sighing in relief.

"Dear God, you should be proud of her. She has passed your test."
