Lu returned to his body, deactivated his power and woke up in the police car. Next to him was Xiao Lee. "You too, damn, that was quick! Were you able to save Cheng?!" he wanted to know. Lu nodded. "They should be leaving the theater any minute now," replied the dark-haired boy. He turned back to Tali. "Can you see where they are?" he asked. The girl grabbed Cheng's cell phone and activated her power. Her eyes glowed red. "I see a staircase. They should be out any minute," she confirmed. "There! There they are!" the officer suddenly said and pointed to the deserted entrance to the theater. And it was true: Luana was helping an injured Cheng up the stairs, they were just opening the doors.
But at that moment something happened.
A deafening bang was heard.
Dust swirled up.
Flames devoured the building.
A bomb had exploded.
"No! Shit! Cheng! Luana!" Lu screamed and jumped out of the car. This couldn't happen! You couldn't die! Lu wanted to run away when he suddenly felt something cold and metallic on his temple. The officer also wanted to jump up and run towards the explosion when an electric shock device was
thrust into his back with full force. "Don't move," a man growled. Lu slowly turned around and saw the scratched face of the bodyguard, the bald man. Juan had tricked her. "Stop that!" Tali sobbed and wanted to stand in front of Lu, but the bald man pushed her back. "Did you think we weren't watching you? We already thought you would use your powers... Now follow me, go on, or I'll shoot your legs!" the man ordered. Reluctantly, Lu and Tali followed the bald man while in the background raging flames destroyed the old theater.

There were only a few steps left, which Cheng and Luana climbed, panting, they could already see the entrance doors of the theater when Cheng flinched again and fell to his knees. "Cheng! Are you OK?", frightened, Luana supported him and looked at his wound on his stomach. "Yes... I'm OK...", gasped Cheng and pulled himself up on the wall. They both reached the doors and saw Xiao Lee's car. "Lu's plan seems to have worked...", murmured Luana. But at the same moment that Cheng and Luana stepped through the threshold of the theater, a deafening explosion rang out. The shock wave knocked them both to the ground, dust and smoke swirled up, the theater behind them was torn to pieces. "LUANA!", screamed Cheng and threw himself, including the girl, without hesitation, trying to protect her as best he could with his body. The shrill ringing in his ears slowly faded as the blonde tried to come back to his senses. Damn, Juan had really thought of everything, he had never
planned to let her get out alive. Cheng tasted blood and dirt on his lips, but he still grabbed Luana's hand and pulled her up. "Come on, we... we have to get out of here, otherwise we'll be crushed," gasped Cheng. Luana stood convulsively on her wobbly legs. Fortunately, the explosion hadn't hit her directly. "Out, out," gasped Cheng, the smoke rising into his face, the hungry flames licking at their clothes. The two stumbled out of the burning building and washed the dirt from their faces. "Shit... that was close," hissed Launa, but headed for Xiao Lee's car without taking a deep breath. As the two teenagers got closer, however, they noticed an unconscious Xiao Lee. "Officer!", worried, both ran to him and checked his pulse. "Damn, where are Lu and Tali?" Luana searched the area, trying to find something that might give a clue, but she found nothing. "Shit, has Juan figured out the plan?" Cheng jumped up. "What do we do now?" Luana watched Xiao Lee tensely. "Give me Lu's cell phone, quickly," said Cheng. Luana threw the device to him. Cheng immediately activated his power and felt new pain from his wound. His eyes glowed light blue and sparkled mysteriously. "Do you see anything?" Luana paced impatiently. The light in Cheng's eyes faded and he returned. "A subway tunnel. Somewhere very close," Cheng guessed. Then he remembered the distant chugging. The theater probably had a corridor to the subway, and that's where Juan would meet Lu. "We have to go down into the shaft, we don't have much time," explained Cheng. Was today the day his vision would come true? Would Lu... die today?
