Chapter 6

Liams POV

"Wow Liam, you have a very nice house" Aisha said as we pulled into my driveway

"Thanks, I bought it myself" I replied

I got out of the car and went over to open her door for her.

"Why aren't you just the sweetest?" She said smiling at me
"I try" I blushed

I locked the car and led her to the front door. I unlocked the front door and moved out of the way so that she could walk inside.

"Oh my, it's cozy in here" she smiled up at me

"Thank you" I said taking her jacket off

"I have a turkey in the oven" I told her and walked into the kitchen

"I love turkey!" she exclaimed

Aisha's POV

It's true right next to chicken, I absolutely love turkey. I looked around Liam's house and smiled. It seemed like it really suited him a lot. As I made my way into his living room I looked at the pictures on top of his fire place. I looked closer when I saw a picture of him and a small child.

"Must be a close relative" I mumbled

"Aisha?" Liam called

"Yeah!" I responded excitedly

"Dinner's ready" he said

"Great, I'm starved" I said following him into the kitchen

[Dinner]

"So you're the middle child?" Liam asked

"Yeah, pretty much. I actually enjoy it though" I said

"Why is that?" he asked

"Well I guess you could say I'm the 'special one'" i said putting quotation marks on the word special

"My brother is a mechanic, and my sister is a stay at home mom, but I am a surgeon. I don't know how it makes me different, but it just does" I explained

"Interesting" he nodded his head

"Well, what about you?" I asked sipping my wine

"I'm a lawyer" he said and I smiled slightly

"I wanted to be a lawyer, but it just didn't feel like the right job for me" I explained

"Well, I'm sure you make a great nurse" he said and I smiled

"So, do you have any family down here?" I asked

"My parents and sisters live in England, and my daughter lives down here with her aunt"

The moment he said daughter I mentally freaked out in my head .

"D-daughter?" I stuttered out

"Yeah, Kelsey. She's 10 years old, and-" I completely zoned out

10 years old!?!?! If Liam is 28, then that means she was probably born when he was 18. I am definently going to kill Tatiana when I see her

"Aisha?" he said

"I'm sorry, yes?" I said

"I was saying, you don't mind that I have a daughter, right?" he asked

"Liam, of course not" I genuinely answered holding his hand

"Thank you"
