CAMERON TURNED AROUND locking eyes with her own self. Something inside her, despite everything she had seen, still didn't want to believe it was all true.
"What did you make me see?", she slowly asked.
"Really? You still don't believe? I really thought you were smarter than that", she simply said rolling her eyes as she walked closer to her.
"I-I don't remember any of this", Cameron simply muttered as she gave her back to her turning around.
"Think about it. When your mother died you should've died with her, you know that. The car crash was too big for you to simply be fine. Then again all those times you should've died and never did. At your father's mansion, on Vormir, during the final battle", she began saying as she walked behind her. "You can't die, Cameron."
"No, no. I-I never even had my powers before touching the stone", she said shaking her head.
"You sure? What about all those times at Hydra? When the wiping machine never worked on you? It didn't work because your powers protected your mind. When the Red Room managed to control you it was because you were too young. But your powers could save you because you're not meant to die, at least not exactly", she said as she kept close to Cameron.
"What do you mean by that?", Cameron slowly asked her.
"It's written on the Darkhold and on many other sacred books. You can only die by the hands of the person whose heart and soul is connected to you, you can't even die by your own hands. Cameron, you have more power than you even can imagine and you have to let it go, to let it run free through your veins", she told her slowly, but Cameron simply shook her head as tears slowly slid down her cheeks.
"The Power Stone only helped your powers run free, but you always had them. The stone itself arrived on Earth thanks to you. When your father's mansion was attacked you needed your powers to run free so that you could heal, and you unconsciously managed to summon the stone on Earth. Hydra only assumed that it came here during the battle of New York, but you were the one that brought it here. And you kept it here until your powers fully ran free through your veins and then you sent it back into space", she kept talking as she slowly walked in front of her.
"Cameron, you have the power to travel through universes, that meaning that you're one of the only beings who doesn't have a variant. You managed to go to a parallel universe to yours and control the mind of every single living creature so that they believed that you had always been there. And then you completely destroyed it!
"You created an entire city. A whole new reality where there was once a destroyed battlefield. You brought thousands of people here and controlled their minds and then created a new version of Bucky. You rewrote reality so that you could have a child of your own. And all of this unconsciously! Imagine what you could do once you let your powers go and gain full control over them, over yourself!", she shouted a smirk present on her face as she slowly inched closer to Cameron.
"You are the Iris Sorceress. One of the most powerful beings in the entire multiverse. And now that you learned who you really are you just have to become it. Be your true self", she told her slowly, the smirk still present on her face.
Before Cameron could say anything else she suddenly heard a familiar voice shouting from upstairs.
"Mom!", she heard her daughter shout and she quickly turned around. When she turned back she was gone. Cameron breathed heavily as she stared into space for a few seconds.
Then when she heard her daughter shout again she quickly ran to the stairs and went up. When she got there she ran to the living room where she saw her frightened daughter.
"Mom, I'm scared. Something's happening", Rebecca told her frightened.
"I know, I know. Come with me", Cameron simply told her and holding her hand they ran out of the house. When they reached the street she kneeled down at her level and softly placed her hands on her cheeks.
"Rebecca, I need you to do something for me. Run as fast as you can and find your father, once you do stay with him, okay?", Cameron told her.
"Okay, but what about you, mom?", she asked her worriedly.
"I'll be fine, I need to fix something. I'll see you later, honey. Be strong", Cameron told her with a teary smile.
Rebecca hugged her tightly before she pulled back.
"I love you, mom", she told her.
"I love you, too. Now go", Cameron told her and watched as her daughter began running.
She sighed deeply and looked back forward to the street. She had created all of this and she had to stop it. She needed to fix everything now.
