Soulmates

Dan had never believed in love , not until 15 years ago when he met Phil. Who'd have thought that being a fan of someone on the internet would lead to a long lasting relationship full of laughter , love and everything in between. However Dan recently had been put under a lot of stress ; he was out of practice when it came to videos after the hiatus. He'd be lying if he said that he'd never thought of quitting completely but he'd also be lying if he said he never wanted to come back. The feeling was conflicting but thats why having Phil in his life was so amazing. Phil gave him a type of courage that he didn't know existed within him and now they where bringing back the gaming channel , starting to plan a tour (which their audience had no idea about) and their current project was bringing back Dan and Phil crafts. Dan found it hilarious , making such a detailed and beautifully filmed comeback for something that started as an Aprils fools joke but for some reason it made so much sense.

Phil walked into the living room seeing Dan smiling as he edited "You're very smiley for someone who's been editing for 2 hours" Phil said smirking slightly. Dan looked up with the same smile on his face "Don't get used to it Lester this is a rare 'Dan appreciates life moment' and you know it" Dan said as he looked at Phil with a glint of mischief in his eyes. Phil rolled his eyes before he looked down at Dan editing the Dan and Phil crafts video , Phil trusted Dan with editing as he was much more careful than him and in Phil's opinion more talented. Phil was insecure about his ability when it came to his video and production which Dan always told him was ridiculous.

"Is it almost done or is there more to do?" Phil asked quietly 

Dan sighed "Unfortunately I think i'm going to be here for at least another 2 hours..since there was so much filming for this one the editing is going to take a lot longer"

Phil took Dans hand in his gently "Well if anyone can do it perfectly its you..I cant think of anyone else who can make a satanic production beautiful" Phil chuckled slightly 

"You know what..im taking that as a compliment" Dan laughed as he squeezed Phils hand

Phil laughed and stood up "Do you need anything? Snacks or food or a drink?"

Dan thought for a moment "Hm..maybe we should order food , we've literally been working all day" 

Phil nodded in agreement "Alright , ill go an order some food. Keep up the good work" he said with a smile as he gave Dan a kiss on the cheek "And if you need a break I can take over later"

Dan nodded with a smile as he watched Phil leave the room , he didn't think it was possible to love someone as much as he loved Phil. His love for Phil went beyond his love for anything else in his world because Phil was his world. Dan shook his head thinking about how cliche he was being as he looked back at his laptop and continued to edit the Dan and Phil crafts video.
After a few minutes of editing Dan heard a small noise..it wasnt Phil he'd left to get food. He ignored it but after a few moments this small noise became louder..like a shouting or a screaming slowly filling his head. He shook his head..Dan had been tired before but it had never had this effect on him? He wasnt drunk or high so he wasnt hallucinating. The noise got louder and louder filling Dans entire head before Dan realised the noise wasnt just in his head...the noise was also external. He placed his laptop down and stood up quickly and pulled his phone out to text Phil but just as he did that he saw it...although he wasnt sure exactly what IT was.

In the corner stood a purely dark figure , horned , winged and with purely black eyes. Dan dropped his phone in fear as his heart leaped out of his chest. He would have screamed but for some reason he physically couldnt..he had just frozen..surley he was hallucinating. But then the thing spoke it voice low..like a growl but emotionless.

"Daniel Howell...you have mocked our leader for too long."

Dan stood there in fear..he couldn't think a small whimper was heard shortly followed by "W-What?"

"My name is the black arrow. I am one of the Demons of Satan, you have mocked us for too long Daniel Howell and you will face consequences for your actions" an emotionless grin appeared on the things face.

Dans eyes widened "W-We...N-No..we..we didnt think the..we didnt think it was real..t-the videos where a joke..t-they where m-meant to be funny...w-we never intended to offend anyone!"

The black arrow narrowed its eyes "You looked upon us as fake and mocked us. Intent is not what we care about! You will be punished for your actions. The consequences will be dear Daniel Howell!"

"W-What consequences! Please we didnt mean to cause any of this...w-we literally ..I-I didnt think any of this was real until 5 minutes ago! Dont hurt me..please" Dan stuttered the fear in his voice so clear

"You misunderstand Daniel Howell it is not us that will hurt you. It is you that will hurt others , you must end the life of everyone who has seen the videos of you mocking us." Its voice was clear..and emotionless ; evil and punishing 

"W-What..no i cant..thats hundreds of thousands of people! I cant kill anyone..some of them are children! P-Please dont make me do that!" Dan begged tears streaming down his face

"I said you must face consequences Daniel Howell those consequences only have one way out" The black arrow said evil burning in his eyes

Dan hesitated...he didnt want to know what the way out was but he also knew he couldn't face these consequences that had been listed to him. How could making stupid crafting videos lead to this..what had he done? It wasnt intentional..how was this real..how was any of this real?!

Dan looked up with tears in his eyes "T-Theirs a way out?"

The black arrow growled "You must cause yourself pain by ending the life of the person you love the most. Ending the life of a soulmate is the way out"

Dans eyes widened...a soulmate? Surely not.. "P-Phil..w-what..no NO! I wont do either you cant make me!"

The black arrow smirked "Thats where you're wrong because even if you refuse to kill your audience I will , the children included and the only way to stop me is to kill the person you love the most."

Dan felt tears streaming down his face "N-No...you c-cant"

"I can and I will. Youve been given your task Daniel Howell"

And as soon as it appeared it was gone...the black smoke vanished leaving Dan alone shaking in his home that he shared with his soulmate..the person he loved the most.
