The Silent Vigilante

A Dark Shadow

We were at the university, blending in with the students and staff. We had been discreetly observing Mikhail and his brother Kei from a distance.
"Keep an eye on them," I whispered to Michael. "Something's not right here."
They were communicating without words, sharing some secret that only they knew about. I noticed a young woman nearby, her eyes fixed on the Sebestian brothers. It was Sophie, standing quietly in front of them.

I tapped Michael's arm and pointed discreetly in Sophie's direction, gesturing for him to take note of her.

I and Michael observed as the Sebestian brothers glanced over in Sophie's direction. For a moment, their conversation ceased, and their eyes lingering on her. It was as if they had suddenly become aware of her presence.

We need to get her out of here," I said, his voice low and urgent. "She's not safe around them. We need to take her with us."

Michael nodded, understanding the seriousness of the situation.
We discreetly approached Sophie, making sure the Sebestian brothers didn't notice.

With a firm yet gentle grasp, we took hold of her arms, my one hand stroking her hair gently to make her calm and guided her towards our car, which was parked nearby. Sophie was surprised by the unexpected intervention, she tried to resist. "Shhh calm down we won't hurt you, those Sebestian brothers saw you there."
"Let go of me!" she exclaimed, struggling to break free. "We're trying to help you. It's not safe for you to be near the Sebestian brothers." Michael said softly.

But Sophie was too fearful to listen. She twisted her body, trying to break free from our grasp. We had to use force, but we were careful not to hurt her in the process. We managed to push her into the backseat of the car, closing the door behind her. Michael is driving and I sit beside her in the backseat holding her and try to calm her. Tears fall from her eyes, my gaze softened "Shhh.... Hey it's okay.. we won't hurt you Sugar" . My tone get serious " hey I am detective and he is my assistant... We are not kidnappers Sophie..." I took the sedative from my pocket and put the fluid on my fingers. "Hey I want you do something for me...." My rough fingers touched her soft pink lips. My touch was gentle, she was resisting but ofcourse I am big. "Shhh now calm down, Sugar". Sophie looked at me surprisingly with her sobs "what was that". My gaze softened at her tears, my hand approached her cheeks and wipe off her tears. " Sugar, it won't hurt you... It's just a drug, which will make you calm, now sleep...." Her eyeslids getting heavy, she closed her eyes and I leaned her against me, holding her tightly. She looks so vulnerable when she sleeps. My one hand stroking her hair. Michael noticed me and said "This is not the first time.., why you want to take her with you...?"
"I just don't want any creeps near her in the headquarters" I replied. Michael chuckled and noded "I can understand." "I am just protecting her Michael." Michael nodded silently. As we arrived at my mansion I carried her in my arms to room and put her in my bed gently. She is so pretty while she is sleeping. I sat there, caressing her soft cheeks and just looking at her for few moments but I have some work too...
