Eternal Veil

In the fading light of a dying world,
Where whispers of your legacy are softly told,
We are under the old, fading sun,
Two shadows embracing, as one, undone.

Sky bells ring for a bygone brilliant age,
Draped now in endless limitless night;
In the mausoleums where memories lie asleep,
We walk in the ruins of our goodbye.

Threads of fate weave a funeral rug:
In the void, where love and sorrow blend,
No longer by a new day's gentle grasp are we warmed;
But only by the chill of endless darkness.

From behind the veil of time's relentless current,
Our love remains as a ghostly dream;
The holy vow, sealed with a sigh,
In shadows of yesterday, where we remain.

In the silence, where stars now dim,
And serenades the echoes of our hearts,
We stride in realms wherein the departed share,
In endless rhythm of the shadowy tide.

No calls of salvation, no light to pursue,
But the eternal night, which shackles our minds,
Yet in this nothingness, our souls embrace,
A ghostly waltz through veils of time.

Then let this world drown in the deeps,
For in the darkness, we shall be lost forever.
Bound by the ties of a love refined,
In the everlasting shroud, forever enshrined.
