:: Things haven't been going so well for Fang lately. He's been carrying this newfound and unusual feeling whenever he thought about his best friend, Buster. For some reason, he's been more nervous and jittery about him. He first saw it as something questionable or concerning even, like it was a bad vibe or something telling him Buster was no good, but it didn't feel like dangerous, it felt... secure. Buster was his best buddy, so he should be feeling like that, but according to Maisie, Fang had... feelings for Buster, and those feelings were stronger than the normal feelings of friendship and security. It was pure love. The real icebreaker question was, does Buster feel the same? Will those feelings be reciprocated by him, or is it one-sided? It was a complicated situation.

Words wouldn't be enough for Fang to explain how much Buster's actions messed with him. A simple eye contact is enough for him to scream internally now. That didn't happen before! Even when working at the cinema or training, Buster's smile is wrapped around his mind! He wasn't a lovesick teenager goddammit. He was a man in his 20s! The only correct thing to do now is to... sigh... confess. But Fang was too afraid of rejection. It would completely ruin and tarnish their strong friendship that was perfectly maintained, Fang's confession would be a shocker of some sort. He's not taking things for guaranteed.

Fang exactly thought about this as he was cleaning up the arcade after another busy day. He swiped off the messy pieces of popcorn from the controllers, his head reeling with so many things. He couldn't even do regular things right without getting worked up about that, jeez. "Maisie says I should just spit it out and tell him, is she crazy, or something worse?! What if he rejects me?! I'll look like a weirdo to him..." Fang went on to himself, leaning against one of the machines from the arcade, sadness displayed in his eyes as he mindlessly scanned through the whole interior as a distraction from his own mind. He was so done with himself right now.

Even worse, he has been actively distancing himself away from Buster just for him to not notice the suspicious behavior since he acted panicked and rushed around him presence. He didn't ever think that could be a bad idea or not, or that it was noticeable. It's not like he's careless. It just never crossed his mind.

As he still kept looking at whatever could be a distraction, his eyes suddenly landed on Buster. When did he arrive? Fang flinched back, and a tiny gasp escaped him as a response. He was so lost that he didn't even notice Buster coming over after the shift. Buster chuckled slightly. "Woah there! Why so jumpy, bro?" Buster asked with curiosity. Fang cleared his throat first, trying to remain cool. "Nothing, nothing, I just... didn't expect you..." Fang excused, trying to appear nonchalant. "So what brings you here, dude?" Fang questioned, trying to get off the awkward topic. "Just here to ask if you're free to hang out at the theatre tonight?" He began confidentially.
Fang already felt warm inside from the question. He's never been this formal before.

Fang will reject the invite, of course, since he's a dense idiot. "Uh.. sorry, can't today, buddy -" "Again." Buster interrupted his words roughly, a serious tone behind. Fang froze in place. Oh no, something bad is going to happen. "W-What do you mea-?" "You know EXACTLY what I mean, Fang. Why do you keep rejecting my invites?" Buster seemed worried and mad.
"I just don't have time..." Fang turned around, holding back to say anything else. Buster stared at him in disbelief. "So you're just planning to throw me away like that?' Buster said suddenly, making Fang's heart skip a beat. He turned back. "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT?!" Fang yelled. "YOUR THE ONE IGNORING ME!" Buster retorted. Fang. Was out of breath, but he tried to calm things down. "Okay, wait, let's just calm down..." Fang was once again interrupted by his misunderstood friend.

"Calm down? Just say it!" Buster yelled. "SAY WHAT?!" Fang retorted, trying to hold back tears. "THAT YOU DONT WANT TO HANG OUT WITH ME AT ALL!" Buster finally spat out, leaving Fang speechless. Buster turned around and ran off. Fang didn't want to chase him, he didn't want to look obvious. "WAIT! WHERE ARE YOU-!?" "IM HEADING TO THE THEATRE TO HANG OUT WITH MYSELF!" He responded and slammed the door on his way out. Fang was stone. He was so cold inside now, but wait, was he.. crying?! Fang wiped away a tear, looking at his wet finger. More tears fell. Did this really just happen?

He ruined their friendship without even confessing to Buster. He shook slightly. "Fuck..." He mumbled quietly to himself, before looking up at the exit of the arcade and debating if he should go apologize, and maybe confess, or never talk to him again. Fang took a deep breath and walked out, walking to the theatre that was 5 minutes away. Once he got there, he looked over the building once again. He inhaled deeply once again and walked inside. Buster is most likely there right? Well no. He lied to him so Fang wouldn't be looking for where he went. He then saw a bit of his orange hair from afar, and began running, but silent enough to see where he's going. It was so dark outside, but the sky was beautiful with the shinning stars decorated onto it.

After 10 minutes of following Buster's steps, he stopped at a bridge of a park, leaning onto it and admiring the celeste sky. Fang walked closer, without Buster noticing him when he did, he turned around and scoffed. "What the hell do you wa-!" He then noticed the tears in Fang's eyes, and paused for a moment. "Fang...?" He started in a hushed tone, as Fang wiped his teary eyes. "Buster, I'm sorry for always rejecting your invites, I miss you..." Buster smiled softly at him and opened his mouth to talk, but suddenly, Fang blurted something out...

"I love you, Buster."

Buster let out a stunned grunt, his eyes wide open and fixated on Fang. Did he hear that right? Fang's eyes widened back as he realized he accidentally spat that out. They both stared at eachother, with Fang trying to look away, but his eyes kept luring him to look back at Buster. "I...." That single word hung in the air, Fang couldn't think of an excuse. He then did the unthinkable, and lent in, pecking a kiss on Buster's lips. Buster flinched slightly. When Fang pulled away, his orange-headed friend began to blush furiously. He couldn't hold back a giggle, or a facepalm. "I love you too, you idiot, you should have said that sooner." Buster replied back, but the soft blush was still creeping on his entire face. "Well I did now..." Fang replied with a snark, and pulled Buster into a hug.

As soon as he heard sniffs, he took ahold of Fang's shoulders and pulled him away from the hug. "Woah honey, stop the tears..." He teased with, wiping his tears. A nickname? Fang was squealing internally. "Don't ever pull something like this again..." Buster threaten, but Fang just chuckled. "I never wanted to lose you, love." "Oh, already getting settled, hm?" Buster commented, making eachother chuckle. They closed the entire case when Buster pulled Fang in a more proper kiss. "Hmmgh... hey..!" Fang giggled through it. Buster grinned back. "I'm sorry for making you cry...~" "Mmm.... you little....~ your forgiven this time..." He mumbled, accepting the apology.
