The Greatest Menace

Third Person POV

The sudden attack caught everyone off guard and only Velgrynd was able to react in time but by that time, the clawed hand had already brought itself down on Feiyun. Dust clouds scattered around and Vita blew it away as quickly as it emerged.

"Feiyun?!"

Before they could rush forward to check, Feiyun flew out of the dust cloud and landed on Vita, her right arm covered in obvious wounds and her blood.

"Damn that thing...!" Feiyun grunted as Vita helped her up, "Barely made it out...!"

Velgrynd quickly stepped in front of them, "Heal yourself up, Little Fei!"

Mei drew her sword next to Velgrynd, "What was that?!"

Velgrynd narrowed her eyes as the dust began to settle, "It's Ivarage...!"

Hearing this, the Valkyries moved. Those who could only support from the rear were tasked with the protection of the weakened ones while the ones who still had strength left moved up to fight.

"How did it break past Iris's defense?" Feiyun wondered as she healed her arm

<Forced its way through and it could even connect space and time to find you. What's worse, even if it was Ivarage, it seems to only be a fragment of the real Ivarage. In fact, there are multiples of the same entity showing up around the place.>

"Great, like it wasn't troublesome enough to begin with." Dino complained with a grumble

The figure, who called itself 'Ivarage', seemed to ignore those in front and instead, kept its focus on Feiyun.

"Strange energy... everywhere. I'll be taking... the strongest one."

"I'm guessing we can't use words against it." Misteln hummed in mild amusement and her weapon appeared in her hand, "Unfortunately, you're not going to touch her."

The Seed of Ideas spawned around 'Ivarage' while Siegfried lunged forward in his full ICHOR form with Shamash's flames on full throttle.

"Take this!"

Multiple spears pierced through 'Ivarage' just as Siegfried swung down but they all phased through the being, startling them.

"What the-"

"Unknown energy detected..." 'Ivarage' looked at Siegfried, "... Strength is still lacking."

Then, as if pushed back by an unknown force, Siegfried was thrown to the other side of the Colosseum while the force caused the Seed of Ideas to retreat.

"Dad!"

"Its menace is growing." Misteln noted, "It pushed back the Ideas by rejecting their energies."

"So it has some kind of negative impact against them?" Bronya analyzed their enemy, "I can't find anything but magicules so this could be..."

"That explains some things at least..." Siegfried groaned and stood up

"Power..." 'Ivarage' muttered and they were suddenly at the edges of the Colosseum while it was now in front of Feiyun and Vita, "Give it to me."

While the others remained confused about what had just transpired, Velgrynd was quick to use <Spacetime Connection> to close the gap and make it back to Feiyun's side, swinging her fan while the being dodged her swipe.
