I sailed in the dark abyss
Chasing for love, for peace
Holding on tight to something done
Chasing dreams that are long gone.
Stuck in the unfamiliar horizon
Lost in the wilderness of illusions
Blinded by the fear of oblivion
Drowning deep in the sea of lost visions.
Will-o'-the-wisp,
a deceptive dream
In the vast sea of hope, once bright
I got lost looking for the streams of night
Hopes, dreams, happiness, aspirations
The life i once have envisioned
Turned to nightmare, cold and dark
Now has lost its spark.
In the sea of broken dreams, alone I sail,
A place where only pain prevails.
Waves of losses, tides of pain,
Hit me with what I could've attain.
In the middle of darkness, nightmares peep
Cruel relentless shadows started to creep
Yearning heart broke as my soul continues to weep
For my dreams, love, a life I cannot keep.
Tides of broken dreams touches my boat
Waves of darkness covered me like a cloak.
No moon will kiss the cold waters
In this endless darkness, only pain never falters
My boat floated adrift the shattered dreams
No light, full of hopelessness as it seems.
I have rowed this boat for so long
Yet, still chained by the ghosts of dreams gone wrong.
