"So, how are you going to make me spill all your precious answers?" I said, forcing a smile despite the nervous flutter in my chest. "Are you going to torture me? Stab me? Gouge out my eyes? Maybe... rape me?""You sure know how to run that mouth of yours." she growled, pressing her foot down hard on my thigh.
I winced but kept up my defiant facade. "Let me guess, you're some assassin, right? Hired to take out that guy, and now you're pissed because a grieving mother snatched your kill? Must be rough having your big moment ruined like that." I shot her a sarcastic look, watching as her eyes narrowed in response.
"Oh, look at you, acting all brave." she sneered, but there was a cruel edge to her voice. "You're scared of dying, yet you can't stop throwing out those nasty little barbs, just begging for someone to end you out of sheer annoyance." She mirrored my smile. "Alright then, let's get to it. Why did you manipulate that mother into doing your dirty work? Was it revenge? Or did someone hire you for a little side job?"
I met her gaze, fighting to keep my composure. "What, you think I'd spill my guts just because you're asking nicely? Bitch, please. I've been in tighter spots than this."
She dug her heel into my thigh, making me flinch. "Wrong answer. Try again."
"Fine." I hissed through gritted teeth. "You want to know why? Because it's fun. Watching you struggle, watching them scream and beg...it's all just a game. And guess what? I'm winning."
"Fun?" She leaned in, her face inches from mine, eyes boring into me. "You call that fun? You're even more twisted than I thought."
"Maybe I am~" I shot back. "But at least I'm honest about it. What about you? What's your excuse for doing what you do? A paycheck? Or do you just like playing the hero while you're really just as rotten as the rest of us?"
She chuckled darkly, shaking her head. "You think you're clever, don't you? But you're just a scared little girl hiding behind her big words. And trust me, if I wanted to torture you, I wouldn't need to lay a finger on you. I'd just let you stew in your own sick little mind until you crack."
"Is that so?" I taunted, trying to keep the fear out of my voice. "Then why don't you go ahead and do it? Show me just how powerful you think you are."
She gripped my chin, forcing me to look straight into her Yellow(?) eyes. "Oh, I will. But first, you're going to answer my questions. And if you don't, well... I've got all the time in the world to make you regret it."
I could feel the pressure mounting, but I refused to give in. "Go ahead. Do your worst. But don't be surprised if I end up enjoying it more than you."
Her smile faded slightly, replaced by something colder, more calculating. "We'll see about that. But don't think for a second that I'm going to let you walk away from this. One way or another, you're going to break."
I stared back at her, my heartbeat pounding in my ears. "We'll see who breaks first."
I kept bullshiting through my teeth, savoring every moment as I watched her frustration grow. She was getting fed up with my nonsense, but that only made me push harder. Even though I was tied up, she didn't hesitate to make small cuts on my limbs, trying to force the truth out of me. But I didn't crack. Despite the fear gnawing at me, I couldn't stop smiling, though I couldn't quite explain why I was enjoying this twisted game.
