Before we headed back to our place, Derek and I stopped by a clothing store where we had a playful idea of what to wear for later. Naghiwalay kami sa loob. Nag-ikot siya sa women's section habang nagtingin-tingin ako sa men's section. I already had some outfits in mind, but I'm trying to think which one would be fit for the occasion later.
One could be a semi-formal with white long sleeves and black pants or something casual like a beige polo shirt and linen pants. I looked around to see more options for my man. I couldn't help but be nervous about this stupid idea I had. Derek knew better than me. Baka hindi niya lang din magustuhan ang mapipili kong damit. That would be hurtful, but I must stand by my feet and choose what's best for my boyfriend.
I kept finding clothes that could look good on him, especially for tonight's occasion. Lahat naman ay maganda tingnan para sa kanya. He could only wear a plain white t-shirt and he seemingly rocked it like he was on a fashion show. Gano'n ka-gwapo ang boyfriend ko. Kaya siguro ang daming gustong umagaw.
Nang mapadaan ako sa short sleeves section, one caught my eye. It was a cerulean-washed cotton button-up short-sleeve shirt. Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip pa na kunin iyon at nagtanong sa sales lady for sizes. As soon as they've handed it to me, hindi ko na ito pinakalawan. I looked for some linen pants that I thought would be a good fit. I found beige linen pants on the other side and just about the right size of his hips, I got it for him.
I waited for him to finish looking for clothes for me. Wala akong ideya kung anong pinili niya. Hindi ko rin naman sigurado kung magugustuhan niya 'tong pinili ko para sa kanya.
"Hey, babe," pagbati nito nang makita akong nakaupo sa store couches. "Are you ready?"
