MAKARIA

I never thought the day would come for me to say I didn't miss hell. The Underworld. The place where I was created and grew up to become the world's finest and strongest soldier. A part of me always knew that I was created to become a killing machine, not only to Hades, but also to Zeus. Unlike Melinoe, who was born from Persephone's womb, my creation was completely different. A Titan's blood injected in a demon dragon's egg was all it needed to create a demon with special powers. I don't eject fire from my mouth, but I can make fire with my hands. My pupils are not normal like a human or any other creature. Thanks to Hades' blood, I could transform into a human body. I also remember when they killed the mother dragon so that she couldn't claim me.

Persephone was the only mother I knew. Till this day, she insists that she gave birth to me when she didn't. Besides, a Titan's blood is more powerful than any dragon's.

Of course, we knew that Hades would sense us when we arrive to hell with his 7th sense, but at least I thought it would take him some time like it did when I brought Ares—which tells me that he already knew and let us go because he wanted to find Persephone.

And he succeeded.

It wasn't like I didn't suspect it. I knew that he was smart and a god after all. But I would trick him one day...I would make sure of that.

Hades stood in front of Persephone and I with a heated gaze. He missed her, I could see. Despite her infidelity with Theseus—though Hades slept around a lot with most of the women in the underworld, claiming that he "is a god, he can do whatever he wants."

But when Persephone fell in love with Theseus, it was forbidden. That's some double standards.

"Took you long enough." Hades told Persephone.

She scowled and replied, "I didn't come for you."

"Of course, you didn't." He glared. "What is it that you want to forget about him? Jewelry? A throne of your own? Demons under you? A whole land just for you?"

My mother started laughing.

Honestly, I couldn't resist and joined her, earning a glare from Hades. He thought I am a loyal soldier...well, I was.

"Makaria, take your mother to the cell." He was challenging me, I knew it. But what he didn't know was, I wasn't a soldier anymore.

"No."

"Makaria," he warned.

"No. What we're going to do is that we're getting Theseus out of the cell and letting them go."

"MAKARIA!"

"FATHER!" I yelled for the first time in my whole 900 years. I never called him father, which shocked him to the core.

"You've done enough damage and cruelty!" I stood in front of Persephone, facing him. "Never, and I mean never, forget that I have a Titan's blood running through me, which means that I could kill you."

Also, my first threat ever. Not my strong act though because a second later, he surprised us by putting both of us in the cell.

Not that I couldn't leave. I controlled the cells, which was easy for me opening it with my magic-like abilities.

"Be careful." Persephone told me.

"He only wants to talk." I shrugged and marched to Hades.

He was only trying to scare me, which obviously didn't work. He wanted to speak to me alone and I knew that. I could feel it.

I went to the throne room. He was sitting on his throne, this time, with the lighting bolt in his hand.

Zeus kept his end of the deal. Stupid.

"You're my daughter! How could you do that to me!"

And...it was his first time calling me his daughter, which was actually funny.
