Mount justice - 3:30 pm

It was a typical day at Mount Justice, with most of the Young Justice team out on missions or training. But today was one of those rare days when they all managed to finish early. Conner, Kaldur, Artemis, Zatanna, and M'gann walked through the entrance, chatting and laughing about the recent mission, glad to have some downtime.

" Recognized: Artemis, B-07. "

" Recognized: Miss Martian, B-05. "

" Recognized: Superboy, B-04. "

" Recognized: Aqualad, B-02. "

" Recognized: Zatanna, B-08. "

The robotic, monotone female voice echoed out as zeta beams lit up, the young heroes walking through.

"Finally, a break," Artemis said, stretching her arms above her head. "I swear, if I have to go one more day without just lounging around, I'm gonna lose it."

"You and me both," Zatanna agreed. "I'm ready for some serious relaxation."

"Perhaps we should check on Wally and Dick first," Kaldur suggested. "They were assigned to monitor duty today."

"Knowing them, they're probably goofing off," Artemis said with a smirk.

As they rounded the corner into the main lounge area, they all fell silent at the sight before them.

There, on the couch, were Wally and Dick-completely oblivious to the world around them. Dick was nestled on top of Wally, his head resting comfortably on Wally's chest. Wally had his arms wrapped securely around Dick's waist, holding him close. The two of them looked so peaceful, so comfortable, that it was hard to believe they were the same hyperactive, constantly-in-motion heroes the team knew.

For a moment, no one said anything. They just stood there, taking in the sight of their friends in such a vulnerable, intimate moment.

"Well... this is... unexpected," Kaldur finally said, his voice tinged with a mix of surprise and amusement.

Artemis, usually quick with a quip, was uncharacteristically silent, a small smile tugging at her lips instead. M'gann was practically beaming, her eyes sparkling with happiness at the sight of her friends so content.

"They're adorable," Zatanna whispered, as if speaking too loudly might wake them.

"They're so close," M'gann added, her voice soft and full of warmth. "I always knew they were close, but this...this is really sweet."

Conner, ever the stoic, simply nodded in agreement. There wasn't much to say-after all, the sight spoke for itself.

"Should we... wake them?" Artemis asked hesitantly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful scene.

Before anyone could answer, Wally stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering open. He blinked a few times, trying to clear the haze of sleep, before realizing that his team was standing there, watching him and Dick cuddle on the couch.

Instead of panicking or moving away, Wally simply tightened his hold on Dick, a lazy grin spreading across his face.

"Hey, guys," he greeted casually, as if this were the most normal thing in the world.

Dick, still half-asleep, shifted slightly, snuggling closer to Wally without even opening his eyes.

"Uh, hi?" Artemis finally managed to say, her tone laced with amusement.

Zatanna and M'gann exchanged knowing looks, their smiles growing wider.

"We didn't mean to interrupt," Kaldur said, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

Wally just shrugged, clearly unbothered. "No worries. We were just catching a nap after monitor duty."

"Sure," Zatanna teased, her eyes twinkling. "Is that what you people are calling it these days?"

Wally rolled his eyes playfully. "Hey, sometimes a guy just needs to cuddle with his boyfriend. No big deal."

Dick, finally waking up enough to understand what was happening, blinked at his team with bleary eyes. "Oh... hey, guys."

"Hey," M'gann replied with a giggle. "You two look cozy."

Dick's cheeks flushed a bit, but he didn't move from his spot. "Yeah, well... Wally's comfy."

"Comfy, huh?" Artemis smirked. "That's one word for it."

The teasing continued, but it was all light-hearted and filled with affection. The team knew that what Wally and Dick had was special, and they weren't about to ruin it.

"Well, we'll leave you two lovebirds to it," Zatanna said, winking at them as she started to walk away. "Just remember, you've got the rest of the day off, so enjoy it."

As the rest of the team moved off to give them some privacy, Wally and Dick shared a soft smile.

"Think they're jealous?" Wally asked, his tone playful.

"Definitely," Dick replied with a chuckle. "But can you blame them?"

Wally laughed quietly, pressing a kiss to the top of Dick's head. "Not at all."

And with that, they settled back into their comfortable position, the warmth of their closeness lulling them into a peaceful doze once more.
