Female protagonist:

Mia Harris is known as the top wedding planner in Clearwater Bay. She’s organized, detail-focused, and always has everything under control.

Male protagonist:

On the other side of town is Ryan Cooper, her biggest competitor. Ryan is charming, relaxed, and believes that the best weddings come from letting things happen naturally.

One sunny Saturday, both Mia and Ryan are busy with separate weddings in the same part of town. As Mia carefully adjusts the floral arrangements, making sure every petal is perfect, Ryan is across the street, effortlessly chatting with guests at his event, making them feel at ease.

Later that day, Mia runs into Ryan at a local café where they both stop for a quick coffee break between their events. As soon as they see each other, their competitive instincts kick in.

“Didn’t expect to see you here,” Ryan says with a grin, holding his coffee cup casually. “Don’t you have some more petals to count?”

Mia narrows her eyes slightly but keeps her cool. “Just making sure everything is flawless. I’m sure your ‘go-with-the-flow’ approach is working... as usual,” she replies, her tone polite but with a hint of sarcasm.

Ryan chuckles. “It’s called creating a relaxed atmosphere. But hey, I’m sure your wedding is going... smoothly,” he says, emphasizing the last word with a playful smirk.

Mia, determined not to let Ryan get to her, simply nods. “Of course it is. Precision always pays off. But good luck with your ‘relaxed atmosphere’—I’m sure it’ll work out somehow,” she says, taking her coffee to go.

As Mia leaves, Ryan watches her with a mix of admiration and amusement. Their rivalry has always been intense, but there’s something about their encounters that keeps things interesting.

By the end of the day, both weddings are a success, with each planner putting their unique touch on the event. However, their brief conversation at the café lingers in their minds, reminding them that their rivalry is far from over. They both know that being the best means constantly outdoing each other, and they’re more determined than ever to win the next round.
