Smael woke to the sound of his phone ringing. It was Anas.
"Smael, turn on the news. You need to see this," Anas said, his voice urgent.
Smael hurried to the living room and turned on the TV. The news anchor's voice was filled with a mix of fear and awe.
"In a shocking development, 3,700 male criminals worldwide have been found dead, all from apparent heart attacks. Each victim was found with a piece of paper in their mouth, bearing the message, 'Hello gentlemen, this is Kira.' In a bizarre twist, one victim's note read, 'Farewell ladies, this is Kira."
Smael felt a chill run down his spine. The scale of his actions was staggering. The news anchor continued, her voice trembling.
"The world is in chaos as authorities scramble to understand how this could have happened. Protests have erupted in major cities, with people demanding answers. The streets are filled with fear and confusion as the legend of Kira becomes a terrifying reality."
Smael sat in stunned silence, the weight of his actions crashing down on him. Anas's voice on the phone broke through his thoughts.
"Smael, do you understand what's happening? This is beyond anything we've ever seen. The world is terrified."
Smael nodded, though Anas couldn't see him. "I know, Anas. I know."
Anas stood up, his expression serious. "I have to go. There's a secret investigation about this incident. I need to figure out what's going on."
Smael watched as Anas left, his heart heavy with the weight of his secret. He spent the rest of the day writing more names, the notebook's power consuming his thoughts. The names of more criminals filled the pages, and with each entry, Light's eerie laughter echoed in his mind.
Anas arrived at the secret investigation site, a sense of urgency driving him. The atmosphere was thick with tension as he joined a group of high-ranking officials and investigators in a dimly lit room filled with monitors and stacks of files. The air was filled with the hum of computers and the quiet murmur of hushed conversations.
"All the victims were criminals," one investigator noted, pointing to a chart filled with mugshots. "But why only men?"
Anas stood at the edge of the table, his eyes scanning the data. "Kira is playing a game. He's sending a message. He wants us to figure out his next move, but he knows we can't stop him."
The room fell silent as everyone absorbed Anas's words. The implications were chilling. Kira was not just killing; he was orchestrating a macabre game, taunting the authorities and the world.
Another investigator, a woman named Hiba, looked up from her notes. "We've seen a pattern in the names found in their mouths. Each one had a paper with 'Hello gentlemen, this is Kira.' Except for one that said, 'Farewell ladies, this is Kira.' What does it mean?"
Anas took a deep breath. "We need to think ahead. If Kira is targeting male criminals now, he might go after female criminals next. We need to be prepared." He suddenly stopped and added, "What if Kira is a woman who wants all men dead?"
The room buzzed with murmurs. The possibility opened a new dimension to their investigation.
"It makes sense," Hiba said thoughtfully. "If Kira is trying to balance the scales in some twisted way, targeting female criminals next would be a logical step."
The head investigator, Colonel Hicham, leaned forward, his eyes narrowing. "We need to double our efforts. If Kira is targeting female criminals next, we have to warn the public and increase protection around known female offenders. We can't afford to be reactive anymore; we must be proactive."
