A/n: Current writing is not the final product, and as such, characters' personalities and dialogue are left unfinished.

What you will be reading is an experimental version of a random chapter and should not be taken as being complete.

Enjoy.

Walking along the city streets would be no cause for her paranoia if those very streets hadn't entailed them just being a bad part of town altogether. Although her head would metaphorically be screwed on the right way to know the important bits of the local neighborhood, the thought itself of unintentionally being caught up into some nasty shadings with those kinds of people did frighten her.

Maybe a little on edge at the least, but she barely did anything to get by without drawing attention to herself.

Coming up near a local pharmacy, she noticed a rusted looking mess of a vehicle sitting nearby. A young fellow who sat inside with their window down, minding their own biz while a short-lived cig hanged on their lips.

The somewhat young adult took a glance over at Derpina for a second, catching her by surprise and shivers running down her body. Immediately upon contact, she tried her best to ignore them as she hung her head and sped inside through the doors of the pharmacy.

The cigarette shifted around in their mouth as if they were playing with it without actually smoking it. They noticed the girl staring for a moment before moving away, but a little to no movement in their current sitting posture was enough to express any care for it.

As Derpina got inside, her nervous posture from speeding her walk slowly straightened herself back up as she began to casually stroll around the aisles.

*Meanwhile*

The young adult man sitting in his car with an arm resting on his side of an open window stared blankly, viewing the street as he waited... and waited.

Perhaps it may have been a bit too long for his personal standards, but that didn't mind him exactly towards impatience. However, what did catch his attention was the sudden notice that his cigarette had reached its end for the trip.

Right before he was about to reach for his another one in the box, his eyes widened a little with the realization that he was all out.

He's not one to act all fussy over an inconvenience, but a sigh couldn't help but escape his breath as he carelessly tossed the empty box into the back seats.

He glances side to side, bored and tired. His eyes roughly caught sight of it, making him do a double take, and then a triple take once he realized it.

There was a pharmacy right on the street he sat upon. It took him a few seconds to register it in his head because right then, he felt pretty dumb. He rested his fingers on the door handle to get out but was halted from exiting momentarily due to another inconvenience being the car door wouldn't open.

He gave it a few quick and hard pulls, and all he got were a few jigs and creaks coming from the robust nature of the vehicle.

Outside the car, the sound of a disgruntled man and a furociously squeaking door caught the attention of a couple of bystanders who were just passing through. It went on for a few more seconds before the door was miraculously bust open with ones foot sticking out of the car as an indication that he had kicked the door out.

Managing to get out to stand on both feet, his rustic appearance almost blending with the personality of the state of the car made the bystanders quicken their pace. He paused in a pondering as he had just considered the probability of having broken the door.
