The morning light filtered through the school's tall windows as Chan made his way down the corridor, a sense of unease gnawing at him. The events of the previous night still weighed heavily on his mind—the fight with his father, Seungmin's unexpected kiss, and Felix's late-night messages. Everything felt tangled, like a knot he couldn't undo no matter how hard he tried.

As he rounded the corner, he spotted Changbin and Han standing by the lockers, talking in hushed tones. Their faces lit up when they saw him approach, though Changbin's smile seemed a little forced.

"Chan!" Han greeted him cheerfully, slapping him on the back. "We were just talking about the party tonight. You coming?"

"Yeah, of course," Chan replied, forcing a smile. "I could use a break after... everything."

Changbin glanced at him, a shadow of concern in his eyes. "You sure you're up for it? You've had a lot going on."

"I'm sure," Chan said quickly, not wanting to dive into the heavy stuff right now. "I need to blow off some steam, and a party sounds perfect."

Han grinned, nudging Changbin playfully. "See? Chan's got the right idea. We're all going to have a great time tonight. No worries, just fun."

Changbin smiled faintly, but Chan could tell he was still concerned. "Just don't overdo it, okay? We don't want you passing out on us."

"Hey, I can handle my drinks," Chan said with a chuckle, though he appreciated Changbin's concern. He knew his friend had a point—he needed to be careful, especially with everything that had been happening lately.

The rest of the school day passed in a blur, with classes dragging on as Chan's thoughts kept drifting to the party. He tried to focus on his lessons, but the constant buzz of his phone in his pocket made it impossible to concentrate. Felix hadn't messaged him again since the night before, but the absence of any contact from him was almost as unsettling as his drunken texts.

Finally, the last bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Chan met up with Changbin and Han outside, their excitement palpable as they headed to the auditorium where the party was being held.

The large room was already filled with students, the lights dimmed to a soft glow that set the mood for the evening. Music thumped through the speakers, vibrating the walls as people laughed, danced, and drank from plastic cups filled with punch spiked with something stronger.

"This is gonna be epic," Han shouted over the music, dragging Chan and Changbin toward the drinks table. He grabbed three cups, handing them out with a grin. "Let's get this party started!"

Chan hesitated for only a moment before taking the cup, downing it in a few gulps. The alcohol burned as it slid down his throat, but he welcomed the warmth that spread through his chest, easing some of the tension he'd been carrying.

They moved to the dance floor, where the beat of the music pulsed through their bodies, the energy of the crowd infectious. Chan let himself get lost in the rhythm, his worries melting away as he danced with his friends. The night seemed to blur as the drinks kept flowing, each one loosening his inhibitions a little more.

After a while, Chan noticed Felix lingering near the edge of the room, his expression unreadable as he watched the crowd. Chan's heart skipped a beat, a mix of emotions flooding him at the sight of Felix—relief, worry, and something else he couldn't quite name.

Before he could decide whether to approach Felix, the boy walked over to him, his face serious. "Chan, can we talk?" Felix asked, his voice low but urgent.
