Prólogo

"That faint voice of yours that passes through me,

Being together since the day they were born was something that most people desires.

As for little Katsuki and (y/n), they grew attached to each other despite their different personalities. Like two puzzle pieces that fit together just right.

They would do almost anything together, from watching All Might saving civilians on the tv with smiles on their faces, to sleepovers at the other's house even if they live practically next door each other. He would always watch for her and she would always reach for him.

There was one time when (y/n) scraped her knee on the way home from a long day playing in the park with Katsuki. He carried her in his back all the way home and sat her on the sofa as he patched her wound. From the next day onwards, (y/n) in return would give him his favorite spicy chips every chance she gets. It was unique in their way, and that's what makes them complement each other so well.

The sunset was setting as the little Bakugo decided it was time to pick up the toys that were scattered around the peaceful park. He brought them to play with (y/n) as they usually do, but that day she didn't appear.

"Kats!"

Hearing from behind the nickname that only one person called him, he turned around as fast as he possibly could, just to see the girl he hold dear running to him from afar.

He became more worried at the state the small girl was as he could see her eyes were bloodshot and starting to get puffy.

"(N/n)! What happened?" the little boy anxiously asked when the girl's feet suddenly tripped over nothing... but luckily her knight in shining armor was there to catch her before she fell.

She didn't waste any second as she hugged Katsuki, burying her face in his chest as the tears that previously threatened to spill from her eyes were now falling endlessly. The blond haired boy returned the hug and started petting (y/n)'s hair to try calm her, he had no clue on how to comfort someone but he tried his best for her.

A few minutes passed as she was now sniffling quietly, slowly raising her head and took something from her wrist. Katsuki, was standing still there with an uneasy face waiting for whatever the girl was doing.

"This is for you...to remember me" (y/n) mumbled as she raised her closed fist in front of the boy.

He put his hand below her fist, still didn't comprehend what she was saying or doing. Katsuki lowered his gaze as a bracelet with two color threads, and a white star in the middle was now in his hand.

"(Y/-" He lift his head to ask her what was this about, but was soon interrupted when the girl got up and started running, turning one last time to her first love with tears rolling down her cheeks but with a genuine big smile on her face.

" WAIT (Y/N)!" He yelled one more time in hopes the girl would stop running but it was in vain.

"Keep shining for me, Kats!"

And with that, the girl turned around and continued running where she came from.

The little boy was too slow to realize that the girl he cherishes and loves just walked out from his life.

They were only 4 years old when fate pulled them apart from each other.

When he arrived home later that night, her mother told him that the (L/n) family will be moving out of town. He spent that night crying in his mother's arms while holding the bracelet that fallen loose on his wrist, close to him.

They never contacted each other after that day, beginning their separate paths.
