CD Shop

Mitsuki Koga and Aya Oosawa were hanging out in the back of the CD shop, sitting on the floor in front of a CD player, while Joe (Kogas uncle) ran the register. They each brought 6 CDs from home, and we're comparing them on an old CD player.

As they layed out the CDs they brought, Koga spoke up, saying, "Hey, we each have two of the same CDs!" She said with a smile, glancing at Aya. Aya was slightly flustered, as she usually was around Koga. She looked down at them and responded with, "Oh yeah, guess we do." She was avoiding Kogas gaze.

Koga noticed and looked away. "So, what should we start with?" She asked, looking down at the 12 CDs. "How about the 2 we have copies of?" Aya asked, looking over the CDs thoughtfully. "Yeah." Koga said softly as she grabbed one of the copied CDs, placing it in the old CD player with earbuds connected.

She left the lid open as she picked up the two  wired earbuds, handing one side to Aya. They both put the ear buds in the ears closest to each other before Aya closed the lid, and the CD slowly started. The song "You Give Love A Bad Name" started playing.

Koga started to do a gentle head nod, accompanied by a tapping her finger against her thigh. Aya noticed this, and her lips turned into a small smile as she heard the light tap of her finger in the silent room.

They sat listening to 4 of the songs off the CD. Aya was leaning back against the wall, eyes closed. Then koga slowly reached up and opened the lid, taking the CD out.

Aya jumped slightly as the music suddenly stopped, and she heard the click of the lid. She leaned forward, looking at Koga as she put the CD back in the case after taking it out of the Player. Koga then looked down at the remaining CDs.

"Hey, Aya?" Koga asked, still looking at the CDs. "Ah- yeah?" Aya responded following her gaze to the CDs. "The floor is getting uncomfortable, wanna go up to my room?" She asked, looking over at Aya. Aya flushed slightly, then struggled to respond "ahm- oh.. sure? Okay? Is that alright?" She asked nervously. "Yeah, of course." Koga said standing up holding a hand out to help her up.

Aya cautiously took her hand pushing herself off the ground and using Kogas hand to pull. As she stood she took her hand off Kogas, wiping her pants off as Koga bent down to pick up the CD player. Aya followed as Koga walked over to the desk, setting the CD play down. "Hey, how do you even get to your house?" Aya asked as they walked out of the back room.  "Just follow me." Koga said as she walked out the back of the store. Aya was slightly confused as they entered the alley before they started walking up a staircase leading above the CD shop. Koga pulled out a key and unlocked the door and stepped in, then Aya cautiously followed, taking in her living room. Then they walked down a hallway and Koga opened her bedroom door.
