Being a tour guide wasn't in Percy's set of skills, but he supposed he could make an exception. Sometimes, very rarely, life gives you some wins. So you take them and run as fast as you can before you stumble and fall into a pit or razor blades.
After all, it wasn't every day that you run into the most beautiful woman in the world. He'd simply stopped at a restaurant for a cup of coffee and was interrupted by a ghastly voice, which belonged to an equally ghastly face. However, the face sitting opposite the ugly one stopped him dead in his tracks.
That woman was absolutely gorgeous. And somehow, she was insane enough to go out with him after.
He was surprised when she followed him out of the restaurant, but he couldn't be more grateful. Spending time with her was like being in a different world, where time didn't exist and he was floating atop a cloud.
He hadn't had this much fun in a long long longggg time. It was shocking how his day suddenly burnt brighter.
Meeting time with Annabeth Chase would definitely classify as one of the biggest wins of all time. And Percy was determined to make the most of it.
"Umm, Percy?" Annabeth called, lips perking in amusement. "
Hmm?" he turned, snapping out of his thoughts.
You got a little something," she placed a finger on her lip, mimicking a wiping movement.

Never mind abort mission. He made a fool of himself.
"My bad," he smiled, cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
He wiped off the frosting around his mouth. Annabeth gave a little smile, turning back towards the road.
She finished up her latte, tossing the container in a nearby bin. "So where exactly are we going? she asked, cocking a brow in his direction
He tossed his empty drink in the trash, "Central Park, I just told you."
"I figured that much," she said with a playful roll of her eyes, "I was hoping for more information."
