Broken and Loving

Barry is in his house on his laptop doing some college work to become a doctor as he was lucky enough to do it online. It had been a  few days since Barry moved and he already met new people and became good friends with some of them. Barry did keep in touch with Oliver like he said he would. One of his new friends text him 

Jess: Barry we are going out tonight and as you are new to the city your drinks will be on us how does that sound it is also a bribe that you do come out.

Barry: I have college work Jess you know my life and what I am working for

Jess: Yes I know but it's time for a break and to feel free from it all I am a nurse I will help you if needed

Barry: 🤔.........Fine but I am counting on your help Jess

Jess: Deal......we leaving at half 6 also we going to a music bar 

Barry: Alright see you lot later.

AFTER 6

Barry was changed into jeans and a shirt, Barry ordered a taxi and went to the bar to see his new friends, "Barry you made it" said Robbie. "Well it came with a price for Jess to help me with my College work"  Barry grinned at Jess. "And I will a deal is a deal" she told him and he nodded and sat down beside another guy named Thomas. "So Barry here is a drink welcome to the city" said Roxy "Well thank you all I thought me telling you lot my story would make you all think of me as Crazy" Barry laughed making them laugh too. "Come on Dude once you told us you came from Central City I know it far from L.A but we do get the news" said Jeremy. 

Barry was drinking when a girl went up to the stage and smiled "hello my name is Leah Parker I will be singing a song I created and maybe to help those who were cheated on or broken up" Leah said, "she is pretty" Barry said and then he looked at everyone "I said that out didn't I" Barry says. Jess laughed and nodded he sighed and watched the girl. 

Barry listening to her and he could not help but stare and she looked and smiled at him while she was taking a break for a second before going back to singing. Robbie Smirked at him making him blush "Shut up" Barry said. Then once she was done people clapped and Barry whistled and Leah looked at him and smiled at him again. She went over to the bar to get another drink. 

"Come On Barry go" Jess said, Barry looked at her and thought "alright" Barry said with a smile and Roxy gave him a shot "for good luck" she told him he down the shot. He went up to the counter "you were amazing up there" he said to her. "Thank you, do you sing" Leah asked "Once in a blue moon" he smiled and asked for another drink and whatever Leah wanted. "Why thank you Stranger" Leah said. "Um, Barry Allen I actually just moved here a couple of days ago met them not long ago and already became friends" Barry said. "Wow you must be a person who clicks with people so quickly" says Leah. 

"Um no not really these people are just good at accepting me and my past" he said. "Why did you move" asked Leah "Broken trust and disowned by family and friends I was fired from work I lost everything so I took whatever I had left and moved after I said goodbye to a close friend who is like a brother but he lived in a different city but anyway so came here fresh start and all now that my depression story" Barry laughed making her giggle. "Sounds to me like you made the right choice and your so-called family and friends were in the wrong you seem like a cool guy" Leah smiled. "I don't know about that" he grinned. 

"Would you like to do a favour for me Barry, I know we just met but I want to hear you sing" Leah asked and Barry looked at her "Because you sang and may I add very beautiful I will" Barry said. Barry went up to the stage "hello name is Barry Allen and this song is for those who been either broken trust or disown by people you consider family or friends only one thing I can about them fuck them" Barry said. 

Barry sang soulfully and everyone listened and once he was done everyone clapped and Barry smiled at them "thank you" he said through the mic and got off the stage. Barry went back to Leah "Wow I think you outdid me singing only once in a blue moon" Leah grinned. "Not at all you still the best tonight in my books" he said "Probably half of these were drunk not to hear themselves singing how terrible" Leah says. 

"Very likely" He laughed, "so you said you were fired what job did you do and what you doing now" asked Leah. "Well I was a CSI and now I am doing college work become a doctor follow my Dad's footstep" Barry said "but if you hate your family why follow your dad's footstep" Leah asked. "Right you see my family did not consit of my Dad as he died two years ago but the family I am saying was my adopted Dad as you see my mother was murdered when I was young and my Dad was framed  I went to a family or more of just a father and daughter let just say my Dad was free two years ago only to get murder not gonna go into detail as it hard to explain" Barry said. Leah hugged him "I might not know you or your past but I would say your dad would be proud and your mom" Leah told him. 

"Thank you Leah anyway I better get back because I would have to heal this from my new friends how much I was talking to you" he smiled making her blush "wait before you go" she told him and took out her phone and took a picture of them together "you on Instagram" asked Leah. "No sorry" he says she smile "how about this I will give you my number and you can text me and once you get on Instagram you see something on my post" She told him giving him her number as he give her his. 

Barry said goodbye and he went back to his friends "Barry and Leah up a tree" Jess started to say. "Shut up Jess" Barry stuck out his tongue making them laughed. 

I am gonna do another chapter later but it will be a cast of Barry's new friends and who gonna portrait them also I am gonna do Instragram post....as I read stories just with Instragram and they were good give me an Idea for this story.
