In the beginning God created our beautiful world. He breathed out the stars, calling them by name. He imagined and designed every plant and animal, unique and beautiful creatures. Then He created His most prized creature, a creature designed to love, for relationship, for friendship and connection. He created humanity. God in the beginning was so close and near, walking in the garden with those first humans. Loving. Conversating. Relating. Being.
Each one of us are designed by God for love, relationship, friendship and connection. We are wired for this special bond between created and Creator.
Without it we search in all the wrong places to fill that void.
In all our hearts is that longing for that friendship with God.
Why do I love Him? Because He fashioned me to love Him and be loved by Him.
