An apple fell from the heavens the minute I saw you.
Biting into it was like tasting your lips.
The red and green merging together just as we did.
Soon, I choked on the poison as you slipped away from my grip.
Coughing up the piece I bit.
At closer inspection, the apple was rotten the moment it emerged from the infernos of hell.
You were the devil that fell from the sky.
Twisting me around your polished fingers.
Tasting like bitter sin.
I was the snake wrapped in your lies.
Delivering your victims the wicked pain you caused them.
Then you left.
Dragged back into the ground where you rule your own hell.
I, the faithful fool, followed you.
