Mary landed squarely on top of Ominis, her breath hitching in surprise as her hands splayed against his chest. Ominis's arms instinctively wrapped around her waist to steady her, but the awkwardness of the position didn't escape him. His cheeks flushed pink as he tried to focus on anything but the fact that Mary was pressed so close to him.

Sebastian, just behind Mary, had also lost his balance. He managed to catch himself with his hands before fully falling on top of her, but the position was no less awkward. His arms strained as he kept his weight off her, but the proximity sent a rush of heat through him.

"Uh, Mary..." Sebastian began, his voice strained as he tried to keep his composure. "Could you maybe... drop the field?"

Mary's face was already burning with embarrassment. She could feel Ominis's rapid heartbeat beneath her and Sebastian's warm breath on the back of her neck. Her mind raced as she attempted to dispel the field, but her nerves only made things worse.

"I—I'm trying," she stammered, her voice filled with anxiety. "It's just... not working."

Ominis, still holding her, tried to focus on something else to ease the tension, but it was impossible to ignore how close she was.

"No rush," he said, his voice tight with both nerves and forced calm. "Take your time."

Sebastian, ever the one to hide his own discomfort with humor, let out a breathless laugh.
"No rush, he says," he teased, though the strain in his voice was clear. "Not like we're in an awkward pile or anything."

Mary squeezed her eyes shut, her heart pounding as she desperately tried to regain control of the magic.

"I'm sorry, I just need a second..." She could feel every inch of their closeness, the intensity of their presence overwhelming her ability to concentrate.

Ominis, feeling the rise of tension, attempted to lighten the mood.

"Well, at least if we suffocate in here, we'll go down together, right?" His attempt at humor earned a weak laugh from Sebastian, though it did little to ease the flutter of nerves in the tight space.

Sebastian shifted slightly, trying to give Mary some space without completely collapsing onto her.
