Raphael
Today is Sunday. My last day off before my busy daily routine starts again.
I'm chilling on my couch, flipping through the channels, but nothing seems to interest me today. Annoyed, I pressed the red button and the large screen on the wall went black. The time on my watch told me it was only 1:30 p.m. Too early to be bored to be honest.
I lay down on my couch, closed my eyes and let my thoughts wander. The first thing that came to mind were long blonde hair.
Ana...
I opened my eyes.
Ana...
Damn. I couldn't help but admit that Ana had been creeping into my head for some time now, but since Friday it was different. Before Friday, I often thought about our encounter at Jasmin's birthday party. I thought about her stunning outfit and what she was doing to me and my body. What I wanted to do to her and her body. I couldn't get the image of her perfect ass in that satin material out of my head.
But something has changed since this weekend. I got to know her from a different side. From her own, very personal side, which somehow completely fascinates me. Her aura, her behavior, her body, her entire person seem attractive to me. Everything she did or said affected me in a pleasureable way, making me want to have more time with her. This all surprises me since it's very untypical for me to feel such a pull towards another person at all.
I liked the time Ana and I spent alone in my garden on my patio. She's a smooth talker, which makes me loosen up a bit. It's easier for me to talk to her than to some others.
On Friday she opened up to me about her past. She told me about this Kai as if it wasn't her story but someone else's. She seemed objective, not at all affected by the whole thing. If I hadn't addressed her date with this guy - what was his name again? - or if I hadn't known it better, I'd say that she was bluffing. Even at work, their colleagues would describe her as tough and confident. There was no room for weakness. She is Pitbull.
But on this Friday I saw a different side of her. I couldn't quite tell what it was back then because she was trying to hide her emotions, but now I know it better.
Pain.
She is hurt. She doesn't have to say those words for me to understand that she got hurt in her past. She had to go through a lot and in the end it still didn't work out for her.
With short nods and weak hand movements I let her know I was here. With her. I wanted her to know that I am listening.
She is a strong woman. I know that and I knew that already when I laid my eyes on her for the first time.
...
I'm on my way into town. There was never much going on in the pedestrian zones on Sundays, so I decided to go out. I'm not used to having nothing to do, so I quickly got bored at home. I passed a few shops and boutiques, but they were all closed today.
At the end of the pedestrian zone I ordered the best espresso in the city from my friend Enzo. Enzo and I had known each other for several years now. He ran a café chain in Vienna's 1st district. When I have some spare time, I try to pay him a visit here and there.
I took the espresso with me in a cup to-go because I didn't feel like being alone among all those people. Then I like it better to stay at home in front of the TV. I left the café with my cup and made my way home through the emtpy streets. Apart from a few children playing, there was almost no one else around. That's how I love Vienna.
As I turned the corner that led out of the pedestrian zone, bright blonde hair suddenly caught my eye. The woman was wearing sports gear and was standing in front of a large building with her cell phone in her hand.
Fuck, Ana...
Instantly I felt my heart start to beat faster. Must be the espresso.
I fixed my hair in a swift motion as I made my way towards her, never leaving her out of my eye sight in fear that if I do she would suddenly disappear. The closer I got, the better I could recognize her. She wore a light blue tight sports bra that also covered part of her stomach. My eyes wander further down to her pants which were short and black. I particularly liked her butt, which really showed off in these pants, making me lose my focus for a second.
Only one step away from her, I approached her. „Ana." My voice deep and raspy from not talking for a long time.
Apparently she was so focused on her phone that she didn't see or hear me coming. Startled by my sudden presence behind her, she jumped up and let out a high-pitched scream, her phone unintentionally falling from her hand and landing on the hard floor. As she moved, she swung her arm out and accidentally hit my coffee mug in my hand, which fell silently to the floor. Now a big coffee stain visible on the floor.
She looked up at me, eyes wide, holding her hand over her heart to calm it down. „Good God, Raphael, you can't do me like that." she took a deep breath. I grinned, enjoying her jolt a little.
I raised both of my arms up in surrender. "I didn't mean to but I can't say I didn't enjoy it." I said and couldn't help but laugh slightly when I saw her dazed face. She crooked her brows at me, not liking the fact that I'm having fun on her expense. But her secret smile didn't go unnoticed either. So it's not all that bad.
Then her eyes dropped to the floor. „Raphael, your coffee." she blurted out when she saw the empty mug and the spilled coffee all over the pavement.
Don't worry, baby girl, I'm gonna handle this my way.
